I had a chile relleno chimichanga. Every place I go I ask for them to take the lettuce and pico out and maybe 40% of the time it actually gets taken out. The guy at the window asked me exactly what I wanted and it came out right. sometimes the middle of burritos are cold. This one was a perfect temperature. The flavors were delicious. The people there were really nice. It was really good. We've been going to places all around the neighborhood but this is our favorite place now. Probably only go to this one from now on.
First time trying this establishment. We were so hungry when it arrived and forgot to take pictures . The items we tried were as follows: ground beef taco, chicken rolled tacos, carnitas taco, bean tostada. All were perfect portion sizes, looked appealing and tasted fresh and delicious. What I liked most was the carnitas taco and chicken rolled tacos. Many fast type Mexican restaurants in town make these but the meat is often a little more fatty than what u like in Carnitas. These were crispy and super tasty. I loved the chicken taquitos too! I prefer chicken over beef in a taquitos and I’ve found that most faster Mexican places here primarily do the beef. My only complaint would be about the salsa. It’s similar to what most of the local faster Mexican places do but I prefer something a little thicker. Fortunately their pico was perfect and just what we needed. We will be back! N
The menu is typical, the price more than fair. Clean restaurant. Good vibe and really good food. Went as a tourist, but would definitely come back again.
First time here and I’m blown away. I rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely earned it. I ordered the #7 — two burritos (one shredded beef, one red chili chicken) with beans and rice — and it even came with a soda, which wasn’t listed as part of the combo. Great surprise. The meat was tender and packed with flavor. The beans and rice were cooked perfectly. Both the red and green salsas were outstanding. Every bite hit. You get the convenience of a drive-thru, generous portions, great pricing — and the quality of a true sit-down restaurant. That combination is hard to beat. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. PS: We went to Guadalajara’s earlier in the day… night and day difference. Save your time and money — eat here. You won’t be disappointed
The food was absolutely delicious and super fulfilling! Everything was packed with flavor, especially the carnitas, so tender and perfectly seasoned. Definitely bomb food. The service was great too, and the cashier was very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend,I’ll definitely be coming back!
Was looking to get my burrito fix on when in town for an appointment, did a search for 'best burrito near me' and this place came up. I shot through the drive in and ordered 3 burritos to take home (but not just for myself!) I did the Bean, Surf/Turf and the Tejano. Now, I will say the drive through seemed to take awhile (over 10 minutes) when I got up to the window but if they are making stuff fresh, I have zero problem waiting. The young man at the window was apologetic so who knows if this is the norm or was an anomoly. I got home and my husband and I busted into the burritos. I did half the bean and half the Tejano. He scarfed the Surf/Turf. These burritos are everything and more, along with the tasty and spicy red/green salsas that came with. That Tejano burrito is a perfect combo of flavor with the red chile/chix together and as someone who normally is bean/cheese all day - I would 100% order the Tejano again. 5 star burritos right here.
Ordered Wet Chimi and Caramelo!! Tort on the Wet Chimi was a bit firm to chew, maybe it was fried too long, idk. But the Caramelo and grilled onions were perfect!!Lady who took order did it perfectly!! I’ll definitely go back for another Caramelo!!
Our Spanish class hosted a lunch here. The workers were so patient and helped every single person order in Spanish. They took such good care of us. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Genuinely blown away by the interior design, it has such a wonderful atmosphere. The food was also amazing and really good portion sizes! We loved the carne asada!
Great food! Fast service & very nice dine in atmosphere. Only thing missing is a Salsa Bar with chips etc. IMO. I'll be back
Tejano burrito was sooo good. All the food is very hot inside is nice and clean
Amazing food. Went here a few time when we stayed at the sheraton in tucson. Really good food. Loced the burritos. Actually had breakfast here aswell once. Really nice resturant, clean and well maintained. The food was warm and savory. I got the chilli sauce. The green chilli sauce has some zing to it. The food came out quick. Highly recommend this place.
I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from this place, but the inside is clean and looks great. The food was great too. Highly recommend giving this place a try. It's locally owned and if anything comes here and try the flan, it's fantastic.
The shredded beef didn't have the amount of flavor that I am used to, but it still tasted great. The reviews I read before coming in all mentioned how fresh the ingredients were, and they were not lying. I was impressed with that. The beans and rice were amazing. Some of the best in town. If you haven't tried Nico's yet, I highly recommend. I'm disappointed I didn't have room for a breakfast burrito, but there's always next time.
Great place to grab lunch when you need your burrito and do not have a lot of time. The food here is great and their service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is very clean and easy to get to from Grant Street. There is ample parking available. Their combo meals are great and you can dine in even though it will be in containers to go.
A 5 Star worthy place, food is delicious and staff is great as well. I wanted to mix up some things on the menu and they happily made it for me.
Giving 4.5 stars Huge delicious burritos. Have had nothing that was not fresh and well made.
