Food is pretty good here, the fries are worth trying as well--crispy and salty. We had the Salmon burger and the Mt Olympia burger. The Olympia burger was better. Prices are great! The staff here are so nice and really helpful. Merchandise is also great! We'll definitely come back when we see the Hoh again!
This is a place right outside of Hoh Rainforest section of Olympic National Park. We were not expecting much. It's part gift shop, part quick-bite-to-eat restaurant, especially for visitors to the Hoh Rainforest nearby (lots of hiking in the rain). Very good order taker who also handled all of the drink orders. Lots of customizable options offered and taken. We ordered the grilled cheese with ham, pesto and tomato as well at the Mount Olympus burger. Oh yeah and onion rings and huckleberry (iced) tea. The onion rings were just meh-to-ok, but well fried. The grilled cheese was wonderful and satisfying. The Mount Olympus actually turned out to be a double smash burger with great crispy edges and cooked perfectly otherwise. I'd recommend both. The Huckleberry tea was fine, but not noteworthy. The kitchen team delivered the orders to the al-fresco covered porch where we dined and offered to bring us anything else we might need. I recommend this place as a stopping point after a lot of hiking in Hoh Rainforest. It may not look like much from the outside, but they make good food, have a place to sit at to dine in and offer good service.
Love this place! I spent two days in the Hoh rainforest and went there every day. Fast service and homemade food. The double cheeseburger with bacon fueled me for a 8 mile hike. I’m still full. Staff is really nice. Super glad this place exists. Great cappuccino too!
Good place to grab a bite before/after heading to Hoh rainforest. Food is good but the wait can be a bit long. Place has a decent outdoor seating both covered and uncovered. Chill vibe and a great staff make it a welcoming place. If you go there make sure to read the sign on the door. It's really funny
got a salmon burger after hiking, the women in charge was very friendly and helpful. would recommend this place for food & coffee outside of the national park! they also have souvenirs :)
Stopped by this cute little cafe on 11/10/2025 and it was such a great spot to get some food and cute merch. The cashier lady was absolutely the sweetest thing ever! She was so attentive and so kind! She even gave me a quarter to use their coin machine for my niece! The cook was also so nice as well and super helpful! Sadly they only take cash tips and I didn’t have any cash. The food is honestly so simple but so good and the pricing is honestly so cheap compared to your typical cafe. I got the cheeseburger deluxe and it was so freaking yummy! I wish I got the names of the staff but they were absolutely so wonderful! And if I’m ever in the area, I’ll absolutely be going back!
We camped at Hard Rain Cafe for 3 nights, as our base to traveling the area. We managed to get the site on the back, no.13, which was absolutely perfect. It's on the back of the property so far from the road (and anyway the entire place is very quiet at night). There are a lot of visitors to the cafe during the day, but the back sites are not really affected by it. There's a beautiful meadow just next to the site and the atmosphere is laid back and peaceful. The staff has been helpful and kind and we had awesome starlink reception. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. We had lunch at the cafe- nothing fancy but the food was fresh and good.
I only review if it’s worth it. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. After a long day of hitting the trails in the HOH Rainforest the Bigfoot Burger hits the spot. Super delicious jumbo burger filled with ham, turkey, and bacon. It’s a little more pricier than your average burger but it is worth every penny. We also grabbed a PB&J for the road just a simple basic PB&J. They have a nice little souvenir shop also implemented into the cafe.
