Good quality comfort food! All the food we had was very good and felt like you were at Grandma's eating all her home cooked food. Plenty of available seating and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Out server was amazing. We were passing through on our way home from a weekend trip. Glad we stopped and tried this cozy little diner! Definitely recommend trying it out if you are in the area!
The food was delicious. Everything that I ordered was a good portion size. The menu had a wide range of foods.
Cheapest place to eat and the food is so good. You can look out and see the deers and the view is fantastic

It is worth the longer drive out of town to come to this great diner. I had the grilled trout which is flaky and melted in my mouth. My partner opted for the steak hoagie with waffle fries. Service is friendly and makes the entire experience even morr pleasurable. Highly recommended!!
The Philippi is my go-to location for comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is always good and the service very friendly! Country fried steak, the Giovanni burger, and biscuits and gravy are my favorites. Some general maintenance on the interior could be improved but that would just take away from the mystique lol. Overall highly recommend!

You’ll get plenty for your money, solid diner style food. Good service. Place looks like it’s seen better days but the table and dishes were clean, and I left full.
