Awesome spot in Speculator that we will make sure to stop in again next time. This was our first time in and were looking for espresso drinks - our iced and hot lattes were delicious. Weren’t planning on food but saw all of the great options and changed our minds - the chicken salad sandwich with bacon and dilly ranch was SOOO good. Still thinking about it. Roast beef with caramelized onions was also great. Yes there was a wait for food, but it was fresh and delicious and staff are very friendly and clearly working hard while the line was out the door. They also had a digital register where you could place your own order to speed things up. The few one star reviews on here are wack. Plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating.
Very cute breakfast shop in town! Coffee is great and all the breakfast options that we had were delicious! The pancakes are big and tasty. I loved my omelet! Coffee cake was yummy. I am a frequent flyer with camping in the area and am very happy with this new addition to town! Wishing The Perks a lot of success!
This is probably the cutest coffee shop within an hour drive any which way. Plenty of places to sit with different vibes. There is also a store with lots of home decor, candles, plants, and more. My family has found ourselves setting up shop to work during the morning while drinking coffee. If you’re anywhere within a 30 minute drive, certainly worth going for both the coffee and especially the very trendy atmosphere.
Fantastic cappuccino and egg and cheese bagel breakfast sandwich! We saw pancakes being picked up at counter the size of a 12” plate! You won’t go away hungry!
I recently made a few trips to The Perks of Speculator while dropping off and picking up my daughter at a nearby summer camp. The place came recommended by the locals and they ate right!!! Pastries here particularly the raspberry crumb cake) are amazing here and breakfast and lunch sandwiches are top notch! All served promptly by a friendly and welcoming staff! I loved this place both times I visited and only wish they had a location in DC! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
The coffee cake selection was very good! Chocolate, blueberry, and Plain crumb cake! The almond joy latte was superb and the cold brew with cold foam was amazing as well! The service was fast, efficient, and the staff were lovely. The building was beautiful and fully renovated. Our new favorite place in Speculator!
We had an omelette with fresh mushrooms, onion, peppers and jalapeño, along with a huge pancake made with fresh blueberries. Food was excellent! I also had a very nice cortado. Cozy decor, and the window bar seating has a cube for charging your phone.
Stopped here during a road trip from ny to Ohio. Great coffee AND they have a gluten free bun option for the breakfast sandwich!
