We popped in there on the Thanksgiving day, while doing Srgt Major Details. I live off post, so I payed $11 for a Thanksgiving meal. That day higher ups were inspiring young soldiers , by conversations and taking pictures. It felt like a family dinner for a second.
Good food and rather Operable fountain drinks. They also always have a side snack and salad bar that usually has a good choice of dressings one of the better tastes in fort hood
It's a dfac, you'll get what you expect, a meal. Don't expect anything extreme. They had chips and hot sauce, overall, good meal.
It's the best dfac on base! Theres always a good variety of food and the people working are all cool. I will say the days they stay open and closed can be quite varied
Staff!!!! The sweetest, helpful and good spirits over all. Each time is a pleasant experience. Today was soul food day and omg Sooo good! Ribs Mac n Cheese, greens brisket. I told them they are gonna make me fat! Thanks y'all for the great food and vibes!! Sorry no pictures I was hungry and wasn't thinking about it
Food is delicious. The best DFAC I have been to on Fort Hood. Staff is amiable as well. No complaints.
It's an Army DFAC. The facility was very clean and the staff are very helpful and really nice. There are so many options for the soldiers to choose from.
I have good experiences here. The food is decent for a DFAC. People have mentioned undercooked food, I never have that but individual experience may vary. The line moves pretty quickly. The soldiers that work there are usually polite. The facility is in decent shape and is usually clean. They have table outside that you can sit at if you choose to. The bathrooms are also usually clean.
