I really appreciate this chow hall and every single worker here. Every single employee always puts on a smiling face and greets their customers with respect and genuine care. Compared to other chow halls we are super lucky to have them! They are quick to refill food when they run out, keep the place as clean as possible, and are fast at serving. One time I asked if they were out of chicken parm, and the woman said yes but when she realized they made more she looked for me in the chow hall and brought it to my table out of kindness. They’re awesome. I would have given five stars but there are flies sometimes.
The staff here are beyond amazing. Ive been to 5 star restaurants that don’t have staff this friendly. The food isn’t great for options. They often run out of food. The salad line is the saving grace and a nutritious salad with protein and veggies can be made. If any issues ask someone and they will do everything they can to make it right!
I haven't eaten in the CHOW Hall since 2001. It has changed so much. It was a magnificent time. Everyone was so professional. Great atmosphere, excellent customer service and food.
I don't care what you say. Atleast give this place a chance they have good food and great service.
Incredible luncheon! Food was outstanding and so special sharing the time with our Camp Lejeune Marines
Review based on Sunday morning breakfast. Line personnel including the omelette chef and server were both competent and friendly. Already short line moved quickly. Plenty of food on hand. Area was clean. Manager remembered me and went out of his way to say hello and reminisce. Very pleased and impressed.
Not bad. Pretty standard chow hall with a good variety of menus to choose from. If you show up toward the last thirty minutes, the menu tends to shrink. My only complaint is the rice has an odd flavor to it. Food is good.
This is one of the nicest chow halls in the Marine Corps. This also means it's popular to visit, so plan your time accordingly. For breakfast, the grill will make eggs your way. If you don't want egg beaters, ask for the number of eggs you want in the style you wish. They also keep farina or oatmeal hot, a Belgian waffle maker, and yogurt. During lunch, the upstairs opens up where you can find some home cooked classics. This level also contains a Mongolian grill with choices of chicken or beef for the protein and noodles or rice for the starch. Get your preferred veggies and sauces from the bar and walk up to the grill counter. These options are available for both lunch and dinner. The first floor offers sandwiches and paninis during lunch, as well as burgers, pizza, and a nice salad bar during lunch and dinner.
