We celebrated dinner on New Year’s Day here and have to say that it’s one of the best meals we’ve ever had in LA. Outstanding table service and wine service. The wine som helped us pick out some excellent bottles that matched our price point. The staff brought out a beautiful caviar set to start. Then we just had some spectacular dishes from the kitchen - a truffle raviolo, Colorado lamb, and quite possibly the most exquisite Dover sole we’d ever seen, and a chocolate soufflé to finish. Since they knew my birthday was a few days away they also brought out a surprise raspberry shortcake. We were able to enjoy this all with our baby in tow - so a rare opportunity for 5star dining that made the whole family feel welcome. Thank you Hotel Bel-Air team!

The dining experience here is truly exceptional. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is warm and attentive, and the wine list offers plenty of impressive choices. The hotel grounds are also wonderful to explore, whether you take a stroll before your meal or after. Everything from the flavors to the presentation makes this a place worth visiting again and again.

Misha was an incredible server and truly made our entire dining experience at Hotel Bel-Air exceptional. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcomed and comfortable from start to finish. His recommendations were spot on, from the bluefin tuna to the Jidori chicken, both of which were absolutely delicious. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail elevated the meal and turned our first visit into a truly memorable experience. Service like this is rare, Misha went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for better.

We've been enjoying the restaurant at Hotel Bel Air for years. Yes, it's possible to be right in LA but tucked away in an iconic neighborhood setting of seclusion and privacy. The food and overall experience have always been the reason regulars keep coming. For me, the service from everyone out front to the entire restaurant staff has made Hotel Bel Air a standout of consistent luxury dining. I don't write many reviews but I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge my absolute favorite server in Los Angeles, our guy Misha. He has a way of feeling like a friend, yet never wavers from making sure each night is more memorable than the last. Thank you Hotel Bel Air. You have given us more memories than we can count.

Hotel Bel-Air Bar – Quiet Luxury in the Heart of LA Tucked inside one of LA’s most iconic hotels, the Bel-Air Bar is a quiet, refined space where everything—from the service to the setting—feels intentional. The lobster pasta was delicately cooked and beautifully presented. The Espresso Martini? Easily one of the best I’ve had. What stood out even more was the atmosphere: calm, elegant, and full of thoughtful details. It’s the kind of place where guests seem to know why they’re there—graceful, unhurried, and fully present. You don’t feel like just a visitor here; you feel like part of something quietly exceptional.

There is no doubt the Hotel Bel-Air is a jewel in the crown of Los Angeles hotels. From the moment you step onto the arched stone bridge and gaze at the iconic swans in the pond below, it’s almost as if you have transcended into a softer, gentler and more gracious time. The temperature is always cooler, the air seems somehow softer simply by being there. But what many people may not know is how fabulous The Restaurant at the Bel-Air is. In keeping with the feel of the property, The Restaurant seamlessly blends into the beauty of the hotel. You have two options when dining; either alfresco or inside the dining room. Both are elegant however our choice always seems to be outside on the patio. With it’s soft pink and white interior, lush plants and candlelit tables and booths, it’s a beautiful place to dine. And dine, you do. For over a year now, Chef Joe Garcia has transformed the menu into a wonderful compilation of delights. You’ll still find some of the old favorites, like Lobster Bisque and Bluefin Tuna Crudo, but Chef Garcia has added elegant dishes with a French influence that follow the seasons. Adding to this already incredible combination, what makes dining here even more special is the staff. Everyone, from the hostess who seats you to the waiter who takes care of you, are incredible. Our personal favorite is Misha. He is charming, attentive and alert to all our dining needs and makes us feel like VIP’s. He is simply the best and we always request him when making a reservation for dinner. The Restaurant at the Hotel Bel-Air is not just a great place for evenings. We often drive the 30 minutes from home to go have breakfast on the weekend. It’s a great way to enjoy a Sunday morning. Ask for Jonathan or Lucinda, both are fabulous and will take the best care of you. And if you like a weekend morning “beverage”, opt for their bloody Mary’s. We think it’s one of the best we’ve ever had. If you want a wonderful morning or night out that makes you feel like you’ve been transported, don’t miss The Restaurant at the Hotel Bel-Air. You be glad you did!

We've been going to The Restaurant at the Hotel Bel Air for many years and it's always been fantastic in every way. We know several of the staff now and Misha is the best! We recently took our nephew and his wife to dinner there and they were dazzled by the food and the service. We all had the special which was a lobster tortellini dish and we all agreed it was one of the best meals we've every had. Misha was our server that night and he treated us like royalty, making it a very special evening for all of us. We can't wait until our next visit!
