Stopped in for lunch, the food was really good. The lady that took my order was really kind and pleasant. They have almost anything you want to eat! Atmosphere was nice. They have TV's so it was good to watch the game.

I recently tried Hotspot Hoover. The food wasn't bad but the highlight for me was definitely the boba tea. If you're in the area and want a good boba tea, this spot is worth checking out. I will note that the customer service was excellent.

I think I’ve finally found the best boba in town—and trust me, I’ve been searching everywhere! They even have the fun popping boba in lemonade, which is such a refreshing and unique twist. On top of that, the food here is just as impressive. I tried the wings, patty melt, and Fred’s Fingers, and you can really taste the difference—everything is made in-house with so much care. The hot garlic parm sauce on the wings is an absolute must-try, and for something a little different, the fried Cajun corn is a standout item that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s clear this is a family-run business that takes pride in what they serve. Between the amazing drinks, flavorful food, and welcoming vibe, this spot is going to be my go-to from now on!

We stopped in on a whim, the food and service were excellent. The portion sizes were great. The owner saw what he thought may have been an issue with my husband's food and offered to remake it. We will definitely be coming back.

Still good in 2025. They play news songs on the radio. It is a working man's lunch spot. It is not a fancy Nancy froo froo la te da lunch place. It is open during breakfast and lunch hours but not for supper. They are not open on long weekends and holidays so if you show up and they are closed dont be surprised. Fortunately there is a chick fil a directly across the parking lot so you wont go hungry unless of course it is on a Sunday. I have been getting chicken from this place since 1987 and let me tell you the Chicken Bites Basket is worth all of the effort and inconvenience. It comes with a katchup/mayo mix sauce that is a must taste. I was concerned when a new owner took over a few years ago but he has really stepped up his game. He changed to a new type of bread roll that is better than the old biscuit. The cooks are great and all of the helpers that I have ever seen there have been good workers. It is a uniquely Hoover Alabama experience so I suggest that you make a plan and give them a try. here is an update for you. They changed the name to the hotspot, and the layout of the dining room has changed. The new owners are very friendly, and the food seems to have improved. Better hours and better selection we will be back!

Our food was fresh and hot and did not disappoint. I decided too come try this place out, so happy I did. I had the Philly and my husband had the whitening fish, so both those I will recommend. The cashier was kind and some things she didn't understand well, but there was another girl that helped her out. This is a great spot for relaxation, leisure or what ever and you will get belly full of deliciousness. It took about 20min for our food and that was ok, there were a lot of people in there.

The food is always good, and for a decent price! The folks taking orders are always nice and patient with me, even when I have trouble picking what I want- there's such a large variety of food! Their boba menu is the best I've seen in the area! They never disappoint ^^

Chicken bites made from genuine chicken, slightly too salty fries, and cheddar jalapeño poppers. Honestly, it's delicious. Bite of a wait for fresh food. Worth it.
