They serve the freshest food ever. Spare ribs are amazing. Love the dumplings. You can’t go wrong with anything you pick.You have had the rest. Now try the best. Large portions. The prices are great. And the staff make feel you like family. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
The food here is the best! So fresh and flavorful! Their wonton and filling are so good! And the BBQ spareribs, my gosh, taste like they’re right off the grill! IYKYK! There is just one person’s job of basting and turning! Today I saw the owner shelling roasted peanuts! She says it’s the tastiest and freshest ingredients for their food! Yep! I agree! No one yet compares to China House’s food! No matter time you go, it’s always packed and everyone is happy waiting for their orders!
Haven’t had Chinese take out for quite a while. Decided to have some wings and shrimp roll today and I’m glad I’ve ordered from here. The food is amazingly good. The wings are crunchy and juicy. The shrimp roll has enough shrimp in it. Will order again next time.
Pretty good American style Chinese food. Well made, not overly greasy. The food was nice and hot when I got it. I would definitely go back. Just keep in mind it’s cash only!
What more could you want when the food is consistently made fresh. They do the staples well and never miss.
I’ve been coming here for about 10 years now. It’s like the best Chinese take out in south Philly. No matter what time of the day you go they’re always busy. We love their fried chicken wings, sesame chicken, shrimp and broccoli. We used to go a lot more often before covid then we’ve notice since covid the prices went up like crazy. We used to be able to get 4 wings and fried rice platter for like $6 but about 2 months or so ago we went and paid $12.50 for 5 wings with no fried rice which is a bit steep. Their lunch special used to be like $6 now it went up by about 20-25% post covid and I’ve also notice the shrimps are much smaller in sizes. Flavor wise it’s still as good but I feel like if you going to charge more at least give me the same size shrimp. Don’t charge more and give less that’s just not right.
Every time we visit Philly we always order from them. The new location threw us for a loop. But luckily we found them.
I'm living in cape may court house and whenever I go to Philly I stop in and place a couple orders. The food is the best I ever had and the portions are large. I've been patronizing them for 30 years and not once have I had a bad meal. I definitely recommend this place. You won't regret your decision to stop by.
