Back at it again, this time dine in. No chemical taste in the sweet and sour. Everything is hot and being refilled promptly. Service is super delightful and quick.
We love China Star. When my wife was pregnant we would go 8 or 10 times a month. Got to know Mae a little bit and now she goes out of her way to come talk and see our toddler. The food is great and usually a packed house early evening.
Best Chinese buffet to visit. Great prices and the food is always hot. Staff is very helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend trying if you visit Boonville

Year 2020: China Star is taking precautions concerning covid-19. Only one customer allowed in the breezeway to order. Employee is separated by customer by a solid plastic barrier. They are open until 8pm.
Came in for the first time for takeout buffet. To-go plates are very small compared to other places that charge the same price for a larger plate. Food selection is decent, despite only 2 bars being hot food. Everything I grabbed was absolutely delicious, except the sweet and sour sauce, which had a chemical taste to it.
This is the best tasting Chinese food I have had in years. We lived in Evansville and tried many places, but once we moved to the area, I was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem! Service is always so friendly. Very clean. And food is so delicious. I crave this everyday due to my pregnancy. I highly recommend
Super friendly. Very clean. Good tastes fresh. One CAN get a tractor trailer in the parking lot, so trucker friendly(ish).
