The food here is great and prepared quickly. It's a family-run business and they're always kind to my kids. The orange chicken is a winner. They're always closed on Mondays.
Great place for Chinese Takeout, being only couple minutes away from KOP mall, they take credit cards(Even Amex and discover) as soon as it’s over 8$, otherwise there would be a 50¢surcharge. Vegetables are fresh, no extra charge for shrimp over other protein options. During weekdays they even provide a lunch menu(Try no.32)for less than 8$ with a free soda and fried rice, the portion is about 1Pt. I love their Curry shrimp, they only make it in Qt. though!
Food is good. Counter lady not a reassuring person at all. Very quick. Ignored my hello and shouted my order out instead. Also ignored my have a nice day just turning her back. Plus side You can pay with a card there and the food isn't too shabby. I had chicken wings with shrimp fried rice
We hadn't ordered here in ages because we had moved away but now I'm working in the area. Ordered a good sampling tonight, wonton soup, fried rice, egg foo young & bone less spare ribs. Everything really great!!!!
I've been coming here since I was young since I grew up in Bridgeport. I will forever compare other Chinese food to China Star as nothing is the same! Whenever I am in town visiting, I make sure to stop here. I always get chicken wings with fries but everything here is so good.
Love this place. Good prices and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. My favorite so far is the Singapore noodle. Service is very prompt
The food was fresh, everything was hot! Sesame chicken, general tso’s chicken, and sweet and sour chicken were delicious and not fatty. Orange chicken was above what we expected. Fried rice and egg rolls weren’t greasy!! Prices for the amount and quality were definitely worth what we paid. Beef with broccoli was a tad fatty but everything else was amazing. Thank you China Star, will definitely be coming back!
I order here almost every wk. Their food is always hot and tasty. Never was i ever disappointed in their service. Everyone is nice and polite. This is my new spot i go. I will recommend them to anyone
