China Star Holly Hill

My significant parallel and I decided we wanted to get Chinese for the evening since neither of us wanted to cook. You would never suspect that this place from the looks would have amazing Chinese food without all the grease that traditional shops would have. We ordered sesame chicken, dumplings, and krab Rangoon. All these items were fresh and delicious to a point where I could t stop eating it. This has been a favorite shop for my significant parallel for years. I definitely will be order from this Chinese food location every time we have the craving for oriental cuisine. Kudos to the chefs!

I have lived in Ormond for 35 years in the same spot and once we found this Chinese place we don't go nowhere else they have the best general Chow's Chicken ever I love their general Chow's chicken and make it great and all the food we've got from them have been great if I recommend any Chinese place It's China Star the one in Holly Hill because I have been to this place for years a lunch specials is great I mean yes as the years went by they had to go up on their lunch specials but it still worth it

Come here every now and again to satisfy my lomein craving and the staff is super sweet, one time they have me a large even though I didn't order one and I was having a bad day so I almost cried out of happiness. My food is always ready within like ten minutes so I barely ever have to wait

5 stars for being one of few places still open after hurricane Ian. Every other place has no power but they’re still up and running. I think probably running that generator full blast. We’re all stuck without power right now and our streets flooded. They could’ve closed down for the day but glad they wanna make some money cuz being stuck with no food sucks. Much props to China Star for staying open a day after Hurricane Ian

I think they have great prices and portions. I bought the Bourbon chicken with white rice for $10.25. It was a huge portion. The sauce was more liquid than thick and was a more delicate (softer) flavor than most bourbon chicken I've ever had. I enjoyed that change (of style). Plus they had added some green peppers, broccoli & carrots to it. (Just a few, not too much). I had bought their shrimp egg roll, which was really delicious & I liked the price of $1.45! It is a bit hot in there so I personally wouldn't sit to eat but I will definitely take out again!!!!

This place keeps pretty busy & the wait for your food is reasonable, as it is cooked 2order. So if you're looking for some decent chinese food And want a quick turn around time this is the place for you! Personally I love the hot and sour soup, Picture provided

I have really grown sick and tired of ordering anything out to eat. I cook everyday at home and it's delicious! Always disappointed because I know I could do it better way and way cheaper myself. --if.you want t #2 review on 3/21/25 ( Btw.
