Best Chinese food in the St. John's area! We are never disappointed with this place. Food is always good and service is always friendly. Just keep in mind they are take out only and cash only
Love their food great. The lady who takes orders is a very thoughtful person; I was using a cane after an operation and she insisted on carrying my order out to the car for me.
Great food, one of the best Chinese places in town in my opinion, but they really need to move on from the cash only policy. It's 2024, most people don't keep cash on hand anymore. Every time I go here I need to go to an atm first.
The BEST Chinese Food in St. John's. This place might not be much to look at, but don't let that deter you, this place has the best Chinese Food in the area by far. Friendly Customer Service, fair prices and delicious food make for a great combination! I live in Paradise and would gladly drive past other Chinese Takeout's for a feed at Dong Fong Restaurant. They Sweet and Sour sauce is by far the best I have ever had.
Very inexpensive. That doesn't mean it's bad. It's actually very tasty and a pleasant surprise. CASH only tho. So keep that in mind. Decor is wickedly dated, and it's very dimly lit if you plan on eating in. However, it's clean, excellent customer service and staff is quick too! You get a lot for your money.
Just had the chicken guy ding as part of a combo. Broccoli florets, celery, green pepper. onion, carrots and of course chicken all cooked very good. I don't know if their cooking is consistent or not but this evening it was excellent.
If for no other reason beyond the name, it gets 5/5
One of the best places for Chinese food in the city. If you're getting take out call ahead and order it as there's usually a 15 to 20 minute wait, especially on weekends. Cash only
