Heaven Dragon Arvada

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Colorado! They have the best sesame chicken and the best orange chicken around. The chicken is soft and flavorful, while nice and crispy on the outside, and the sauce is delicious. I think they have excellent egg drop soup and the best crab cheese wontons as well. The service has always been very good, and they can accommodate large parties as well. I have not tried any of their more traditional chineese food items, but have really enjoyed their American chineese food menu items.

Our family of 8 decided to try something different for our Christmas lunch this year and chose to eat at Heaven Dragon. We've all been there several times before and love their food. There were LOTS of other patrons there on Christmas Day but the wait was worth it. The staff was incredibly busy but they were courteous and tried to check on our table for water refills, etc as often as possible. Thank you for being open on Christmas Day! We enjoyed our meal and the new experience of going out for Christmas dinner.

Picked up from here earlier today for the lunch special. It's a quaint restaurant, but they still have plenty of seating for larger parties and a bar at the end of the restaurant that faces the seating area. I picked up the Orange Chicken with white rice and Beef lo mein noodles w/ spring rolls. The portions were generous for lunch!! Great Deal! The food itself was average, mainstream American Chinese food. I know it would be a lot better if I had dined in. Definitely coming back for it!!

A death in our family caused us to go Chinese for Christmas a couple of years ago. We found one that was open for Christmas and liked it, they closed. Forced to find a new one Heaven Dragon was the choice for our Golden/Breckenridge/Elizabeth family. Wow this is the best Chinese restaurant in Colorado. I had Peking duck, best duck ever. All of the dishes were awsome "Happy Family". We met some locals during our wait and they were right, not disappointed. Happy Holidays

Initiallly I was hesitant to try this place because I have another favorite Chinese food place but this place surprised me! After a drive to see the leafs changing colors (a must do if you live in beautiful Colorado) we stopped by this place. I wasn’t sure, because the atmosphere from outside leaves something to be desired. Went inside, and it was beautiful! Then ordered food and it was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend. Not the most budget friendly but worth a try!!

First time here and it was good. Second time wasn’t as great. Pros: The sesame chicken was very juicy and set in a sweet and spicy sauce, very addictive with white rice. We also had the four seasons dish which had a lot of seafood and veggies stir fried in a light sauce. That paired well with the sesame chicken. We tried the combination fried rice. The shrimp were the best part. I don’t know how they make the chicken and beef so tender. Cons: too salty! I thought the rice had too much soy sauce so it was a bit too salty. I returned and got a few more items but unfortunately that was too salty and i has to throw most of it away.

Amazing first time at Heaven Dragon for Christmas Day lunch! The Cantonese dinner special is a great deal and the hot and sour soup, egg rolls, fried rice and spicy mustard sauce were major highlights on top of the Kung pao trio entree. Can’t wait to return and try the duck!

Ordered food from here for my staff today. We all had lunch specials that ran approx $11.95 each. The food was really good and the proportions were great! Staff was also very nice. I recommend giving this place a shot!
