King's City Chinese And Sushi

First time here, thought it was very clean inside and good atmosphere. Service was very good, friendly staff. The food was pretty good. The chicken wings were huge but could have used a bit more flavor. Really liked the Crazy chicken, the beef and broccoli was good, tender meat, sauce could also use a little more flavor. But otherwise good. The 49er Sushi roll was pretty good, good flavor and fresh tasting. Overall I'd recommend and will be back.

The staff is helpful and very polite. I get a pickup once a month here, and my food is always ready before I get there, and the staff are fantastic at correcting mistakes like forgotten food. The food is fantastic as well, making it a great pick-me-up for a college student. The website is nice for placing orders, and some of my family from out of state sometimes place a pickup for me if I've had a rough week. They have cool decorations, such as a sword on display behind the counter where you enter and a lucky cat waving to you as you enter.

For my first visit to this HIDDEN GEM, I ordered potstickers, miso soup, and a shrimp tempura roll. The miso soup was delicious! I think it also had soy or fish sauce, making a complex flavor. The potstickers were the right balance of wrapper and filling. I also really enjoyed the roll. It had a great flavor and was a perfect size. My server was delightful-answering all my questions and providing great recommendations. I can't wait to get back.

Customer service is a bit slow but they are polite and if you get their attention they do complete their task. Food took a while to come out - I'm not sure if it's because we were a group of 8 so it took them some time to cook all the dish. Food quality was great though. The lobster dish was bomb, the sushi boat was fire & the mussels were on point. My husband also ordered their pho and he said it was good too. We also had their boiled chicken laab and it was also great. I would go back if I'm in the area. Thanks for a wonderful Mother's Day Lunch.

Advertised as “Chinese-American” style so don’t expect authentic Chinese flavor (I lived in China for almost 20 years so trust my experience) but overall dishes taste pretty good. Portions are large and sharable. Dining room is a bit small, maybe sits 35 people most?) so do make reservations for busier evenings (first time we came, we waited for 45 minutes and 3 reservations came one after the other so we left). Suggestion to the owner: please improve waiter service. Waiter forgot our order of oysters while other tables who ordered after us received theirs.

The owner is really nice and the service was great! Food was also amazing! We got a mix of everything from Hmong, Thai, and Japanese. I definitely recommend the chicken wing laab.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I ordered the wontons and they were honestly nothing like any cream cheese wontons I’ve ever had. The shell was incredibly thin and crispy, not greasy at all, and the filling was like a little pillow of sweet, rich goodness. Usually cream cheese wontons are sparse and firm — these were the opposite: generous, soft, and perfectly balanced. It was a taste explosion in my mouth. Just a touch indulgent, but just enough. I would order these again in a heartbeat. Bonus * friendly awesome staff

We were in town and decided to stop in. From the outside the restaurant looked little but don't let that fool your taste buds. There were a great variety of delicious sushi, Chinese and southeast Asian dishes, enough to please everyone in your groups palette. The restaurant is really busy, we also saw lots of food order pick up's. The service was great even for our party of 10, which we called ahead and made reservations for. We had the pleasure of meeting the 2 brothers that owned the restaurant, Teng Ly who is the chef & Futchy Ly who is the sushi chef. They are really great, hard working & wonderful people! The portions are pretty big so pricing is fair. The entree's are served family style. The flavors of the food were big and on point and you will go home stuffed. We ordered a lot more entrees but the food was so delicious, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of them before they got devoured! Everything was perfect, our party was pleased. We will definitely be stopping in every time we can, when we are in town.
