Lingui Chinese Restaurant

My mom and I come here every time we're going back to Jacksonville from Gainesville. This is the best place to stop in Starke for food. My mom loves the shrimp in garlic sauce and I really enjoy the tofu in garlic sauce or General Tso's tofu or the tofu in brown sauce. All of it is delicious! And the portions are very generous! Just a side - they get pretty busy during their lunch and dinner time hours because all of the locals call in takeout so calling your food in ahead or be willing to wait during peak times is ideal. I always choose to eat inside the restaurant so it's always worth the wait. This place is family owned and I love to support local. The owners are really nice and the flavors of the food are exceptional. Everything is made to order, fresh, and reasonably priced with generous portions. Again, if you're in the area do not miss out on this little gem located in a strip mall in the center of town. Absolutely recommend this place!

Efficient and delicious! Very much geared towards takeout, but there are a few tables, if needed. Food is consistently good, with generous portions and fair prices.

It was a great restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food had an abundance of taste. This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I enjoy it here and they give me a whole heap of food.

I enjoyed this. My teenager who's picky enjoyed his meal and asked to go back. A first in a long time.

Ordered curry chicken to go about 20 minutes before closing time (10pm). Order was ready in under 10 minutes. They had the mop bucket out and chairs up, preparing to clean up at close. Steam was coming from bucket and soapy water was visible, so I can see they care about trying to keep the place clean. The egg roll was a little narrower than I'm used to, but tasty nonetheless. The curry chicken was delicious! The sauce wasn't too watery and on the verge of creamy and it had great flavor as expected. The fried rice was normal, not sticky, and had a nice flavor and texture. The meat and vegetables were cooked right, with none of the "cardboard" chicken you can sometimes get when ordering chinese food that's cut into thin pieces. 10/10 in my book. Parked the big rig out in front of tractor supply while I ate and nobody bothered me. Thanks for a tasty meal. I shall return! Location is one traffic light north of Starke Walmart, on the left.

Great food and service, not a large front end but the food makes it worth while.
