One of the best Chinese buffets in Rice County, hands down. The entrance fee is just 15 dollars, which is such a great deal!! All the food was fresh and incredibly tasty. Some of my go to picks are the orange chicken, beef, shrimp, and their wakame salad. They also have a great selection of ice cream. I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Asian food :))
This is not the biggest buffet you will find, especially if you are from the cities. However, the food is great and the price is very good, especially the barbecue chicken which was amazing. Don’t go there expecting big expensive things like crab or a lot of seafood, you won’t find it. What you will find is very good food at a reasonable price -a winning combination in my book for any restaurant. One recommendation I would make for the restaurant is to clean up some of the visible boxes, cleaners and things like that. Otherwise, highly recommend.
its a buffet. they keep it maintained. like any buffet the busier the better the food is and always hot and fresh.
The staff was friendly and helpful they keep it clean and the food was good. I had the lunch buffet with ice tea. It cost me a little over $14. There's plenty of seats.
Prices updates. Place is decent! Not too much going on, but not too badly priced. I love that there’s 6 different ice cream but I wish they changed the water for the scoops more often. Lot of options for a small buffet, we love coming here. I had searched for the prices online and couldn't find them, so here you go internet.
I kept forgetting about this place since it's somewhat tucked back from downtown, but finally made it a point to order take out. Very generous portions at a reasonable price, and friendly staff. I deeply regret taking so long to go here, and will definitely be returning. Regularly.
We’ve dined at New Buffet since it opened quite a few years ago. In fact, the husband of the couple that runs the restaurant was the head chef at the other buffet place in Owatonna that has since closed. The food at New Buffet is very good; not too salty, or too starchy. Of all the Chinese buffet places I’ve tried, New Buffet is my favorite.
I ordered to go and i got an amazing amount of food for a low price!! And it was amazing and the younger girl that helped me was SO AMAZINGLY friendly!!!! I am here for the week on work…away from home.
