Food was great, best Chinese I've had in a while. Busy shop, lots of locals picking up, everyone I talked with to spoke highly of the food. Reasonable cost and large portion.

This is the best Chinese in the area. Even with the change in cook due to family illness. The staff is always amazing with my son and give him little treats. One request, please put congee on the menu. Even if it’s a secret menu just for me ;) pretty please?

Pretty good food the reviews got me here as the better Chinese in the area and it didn't disappoint. Fresh fast crispy. I got the general tso chicken lunch combo. Egg roll was crisp and good and not loaded with grease. The rice was good also. Atmosphere here is very bland. Not really for dining in. No frills at all but good food.

We stopped in town for some food and we ate inside and the guy at the counter was nice and the food was very tasty. The time we were there many people were coming in for orders so they are doing something right. I got the sweet and sour chicken combo and everything was cooked to perfection for my liking.

Very good food with one notable standout. My niece and her fiance eat here quite frequently and anytime they get take out they always pick up something for me and I always enjoy it, but tonight I offered to go and pick up the food myself so I placed the order and decided to try their hot and sour soup. I've eaten a lot of hot and sour soup in my life and it seems like maybe 60% of it is mediocre, 35% of it is good but could use some improvement, and maybe 5% is very very good. The hot and sour soup I just had from Peking is in that last 5%, it was perfectly balanced not too much vinegar just the right amount of heat all the flavors came through certainly among the best hot and sour soups I've ever had. I gave atmosphere three stars because as the restaurant is right now there's no seating it's strictly take out and they've got temporary walls built up and plastic sheeting hanging down and it looks like maybe they're in the middle of renovations even though I don't think they are but as far as food and service absolutely stellar.

I know what most readers are probably thinking, small town, Chinese cuisine, this must be mediocre, right? You couldn't be anymore wrong. This Chinese cuisine restaurant / take-out stands above quite a few that I'm familiar with. The staff are excellent to deal with on the phone or face to face. They take orders correctly, efficiently and get right to work making the food hot and fresh. I have yet after utilizing Peking for over 5 years now, found a local Chinese cuisine that has the same quality, and most importantly love for the food. You taste that in the freshness, flavor. Everything for the most part is always cooked perfectly, the meats are tender and chewable, the noodles are cooked perfect to order. Staff is amazingly friendly even when they are slammed full of orders, you will not stand at the counter and feel like you and the order has been forgotten. Excellent and competitive price points for the food style. I have recommended this location to several people, who all praise their orders, quality and taste as much as I do. Cosmetically the building is a bit dated, and not the most appealing location inside to look at, but some of that comes from the start of Covid and they built a preventative protective wall to protect them and customers alike. But do NOT let the appearance take away from the wonderful experience this Chinese cuisine take-out offers its patrons and locals alike.
