Excellent! Under new management (again). l dont normally review but took a great meal home this evening in my big red warm box, and really enjoyed it. Some recent poor reviews spurred me into saying - give them a try. Totally new staff so quite different as you would expect. Some old favourites as good as ever and crispy beef, and prawn toast way better.
My favourite Chinese food in Uppingham. Fortune Corner’s food is much more flavourful than other places and we are able to order different things each time without ever being disappointed. The wait is never long and the people are lovely. Perfect egg rolls and good bean curd dishes. What more could you want?
The oldest Chinese takeaway in Uppingham, I've been eating here for as long as I can remember. Although it has recently changed hands the food is good still and the prices are reasonable. Nice little place.

Very nice Chinese takeaway. Not your traditional chippy. Small counter in the corner where food is brought out, no fries or warming cabinets. Food was excellent. Easily missed from the outside. Doesn't look like a take away and tucked right in the corner of the square.
Wonderful service and absolutely delicious food. I use this take away regularly and despite never ringing and ordering in advance, I've never had to wait long for my food. All of my friends who have eaten here when visiting, have always thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

being a regular visitor to Uppingham used this takeaway regularly for many years when the lovely May was at the helm and was always delicious when May retired the new owners were unable to maintain the previous high standards however I am pleased to report that with a few changes of ownership this quirky little chinese takeaway is once again producing the goods delicious chinese takeaway as good as the legend that was the delightfull May
