We went to meet a friend near a computer store I like to visit and he recommended this place because he used to work near by and said it's really good. When I looked on the map I saw there were also lots of other places nearby so off this was packed we still had several good options so we agreed to meet there. Well he wasn't lying, this place was great with possibly one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had, granted it was they honey bacon, so it wasn't just a plain one, but it was really good. So much so that i want to go back just for that, but there are also so many other items on the menu that i want to try that I see myself having a tough decision next time. And the food isn't the only reason we want to go back, but also in the backside of the restaurant they have a whole section of old arcade games I grew up with. From reviews I read that after 8pm they have a cover charge, but that won't stop me. Nostalgia is strong with this one.
Went to Roxy’s for the first time last week and had a great experience! The man at the register was kind and easy to talk to, the food came out quick and was delicious, and the space was a great plus! We got burgers and the truffle fries (definitely recommend) . The bottled strawberry lemonade was also very good and tasted real!
Our first time at Roxy’s and boy did we love it. Parking was easy, right out front. The Justin burger was heavenly and kudos were made for the double-friend chicken sandwich. The arcade brought back memories from decades ago, standing for hours in front of a pinball machine! Hi5! all the way around.
Reviewing mainly for the arcade: it’s a fun spot with a good deal - 40 tokens for $10, with most games costing around 4 tokens each. The selection is decent, though not the most extensive, and it can get pretty crowded on weekend evenings. Still, a lively place for casual gaming fun!
One of the best places in the area for a fun night out with friends. It's got a selection of arcade games from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, which were definitely a blast from the past for me. The food is also good, I particularly liked the fried chicken sandwich. The drinks were a bit too pricey, but what can you do. I also think they could replace some pinball machines with air hockey or something multiplayer, as there are quite a few pinball machines.
Went here for a game night. The place is first of all hidden behind the restaurant. That was a pleasant surprise for me as I did not expect that. But the arcade has amazing games, and a brilliant atmosphere with tons of people playing, drinking, eating and having a good time. Had a really good time. They also have really good grilled cheese sandwiches. Would highly recommend a visit if in the area and want to revisit childhood days.
Great barcade. I really enjoyed the speakeasy vibe of walking thru the freezer into the arcade. The staff were extremely friendly. The vibe inside the arcade was amazing. It was extremely laid back and welcoming. They have a great selection of games, especially pinball machines! The ability to play Xbox against a friend at the bar was super cool! I will absolutely come back here! The drinks were fantastic too! On my way out I talked to the door guy about his play thru of fallout 2 on his steam deck, if those words don't mean anything to you, don't come here
Roxy's Arcade is a small barcade™ located in Cambridge Massachusetts. I've been there a few times and really enjoy the vibe. They have two rotating beers on tap and a full bar that makes mixed drinks and cocktails. They also have a good selection of canned beers and game themed drinks and shots. The adjacent restaurant has some pretty delicious food as well as sharable snacks like fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and pretzels. The arcade game selection is just okay. They also have several pinball machines, a basketball machine, a newer Mario Kart racing machine, and some consoles hooked up at the two bars for games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Tekken. All game machines use tokens which really locks in the retro vibe of the place. The only real downside is that their game selection is a bit limited. Furthermore, due to lack of sufficient space if you go there on a weekend it's a bit hard to move around. Otherwise it's a pretty cool place to hang out with your friends. If they get some better games this place would be perfect. I'd definitely visit again (on a weeknight).
