We left our last Airbnb at Menlo Park this morning at about 10:30am this morning and headed to Woodside to check out a couple of places. Our first stop was at Village Hub Coffee Bar. Located next to Woodside Village Church, there is a nice little garden where you can grab a coffee and enjoy the little alfresco area here. You can see different species of trees and birds while sipping on a cuppa here. We ordered the Cortado and Chai Latte for $10. S definitely had a huge impact on us in terms of coffee – having concocted our own affogato last night and enjoying a cortado this morning, reminisce of the excellent cortados we had in Aarhus, just a couple of months back. It was actually quite nice to enjoy the cool weather of about 20 degrees Celsius while immersing in the everyday life of the community. There were a couple of tables being occupied while we were here. Mostly by retirees since it was a Thursday morning... Very nice vibes during a sunny Sunday morning. Sweets were excellent and provided by a local bakery. Coffee well prepared and tasty with good options. Funny how this place was filled with bikers on a Sunday morning.
Stunning spot, run by a great group of people. Nothing short of 5 stars all around. Keep up the great work!
This is my favorite coffee shop in South Bay. The setting under the trees and next to the church is peaceful. Lattes are good and bread/pastries are okay. EDIT: They upped their pastry game, there are more options and are more flavorful.
I found their vanilla latte to be too bitter, but the experience of sipping it in their garden made it enjoyable. Real quaint cafe with plenty of outdoor seating and ambient vibes. They offer your classic cafe drinks, as well as local items for sale like honey and beans. I appreciated how eco friendly they are, with coffee mugs to borrow and bamboo straws, and even used coffee grounds for free to compost in your garden. Limited parking (handful of cars) and some street parking available.
Cute cafe with lots of outdoor seating area! pastries are ok and limited options coffee is good limited parking
Kimmy and I wondered to Woodside for coffee break. We decided to stop here. Actually church with a coffee shop. Only outdoor seating. We loved it. Great coffee and pastries . Ample seating area and doggie friendly. Highly recommend . Kimmy gives two paws up.
Exceptional coffee shop, delicious matcha next to a phenomenal community center
