Convenient- right down the road from Surry Community college Great food- large main courses, not stingy on sides or condiments, cooked just right Service- fast and friendly Price - good food for cheap For a small restaurant, I was blown away by the service! This was our second time here. Food was delicious. And the service was excellent.
One of the best places to eat around Dobson I had a chicken, tender wrap with corn nuggets and it was delicious They will fix any kind of wrap you like. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere is amazing a good family restaurant and Price was amazing $12.57 for my whole meal
A Southern Gem Worth the Stop Every Time! I first discovered Central Café about three years ago during the Ground Steak Festival in Dobson. I had never even heard of a ground steak sandwich before, but they had a booth at the festival, and I decided to give it a try. Let me just say—it was absolutely delicious! That fresh sliced tomato on top really took it to the next level. Since then, I make it a point to stop in whenever I’m back in town (I live out of state), and I’ve probably visited five times over the last few years. Each time, I’ve been met with warm, friendly service and that classic southern hospitality. The food is always fresh, comforting, and full of flavor. Beyond the ground steak sandwich, I’ve also tried their hot dogs and onion rings—both excellent. It’s a great southern-style restaurant that keeps me coming back whenever I’m in the area. Central Café is a local gem and a must-try if you’re passing through Dobson!
One of our favorite places to go for supper. (Best cream potatoes in Surry County!) Great value! You can't beat their quality delicious food and great prices! If you've not tried them, I suggest you take the time to go. You'll be glad you did!
