Best Galley in the Navy!! Love the snacks and the entrees. Everything makes sense! Lobster and oxtail stews are sweet surprises coming out of A school and Bootcamp in other locations, and they should not lower their standards. Been having too much high carbs options and no oatmeal’s these days
Ford was really good! I had steak, lobster, corn, baked potatoe, fried rice, and salad for $6...you can't get a meal of that size for the price in California. After I went, I thought about McDonald's on base and I would've spent over $10 for a "value meal."
It was, in fact, a Navy Galley. The food was significantly above average for a galley, the place was incredibly clean, the staff was very nice, and it wasn't busy at all. You could definitely do worse on base for food!
Best value for any chow, ever! Gotta try the Famous Navy Chocolate Milk and the Famous Navy German Chocolate Cake! Salad bar is killer with lots of ruffage and CS staff do a phenomenal job prepping entrees and sides. HOOYAH for NASNI Galley!
Basic Naval Base Galley food. Nothing too crazy but great selections of salads, soft drinks and sides. Meals vary daily but breakfast are still still the best meals of the day.
Open on Weekends! Truly grateful Food is always good.
Keep up the Fresh fruits and fresh spinach for my salad. Grade A+, but 4Star since I have not seen any pineapple fruit/juice during this pandemic.
In 1987-1991 food was good and all you can eat. Midrats was the best time to eat.
