Now that’s what a dinner is supposed to be!! We went for lunch on a busy Sunday and they did a great job moving so many meals out of the kitchen. Ours were hot and perfectly cooked too. Our server (and bussers) were great. The menu is huge and has everything a good diner should, with plenty of Greek dishes. Big portions, good prices, long live the classic American diner
I stopped in for a light breakfast this morning. I had a scheduled telehealth visit with a doctor so I let the waitress know it would be about 15 minutes before I ordered. She was very accommodating and brought me my hot coffee and cold glass of water pronto! About half way into my call she came by, refilled my coffee and dropped off a menu. I didn't want a huge breakfast and I'm fussy when it comes to home fries. I don't like soggy or mushy potatoes and asked her if I could get them " well done". She offered the well done option along with the option to deep fry them, which I selected. They were absolutely perfect! Crispy outside, fluffy and tasty inside and not one bit greasy. The home fries, poached eggs, rye toast and side of fresh strawberries was a perfect breakfast. I would definitely recommend this diner and if you have younger children who don't like home fries, ask to get them deep fried. They look and taste like perfectly cooked french fies
Wonderful service from Chelsea. My husband, toddler daughter and I stopped in on our way back to Albany from an overnight trip to Massachusetts. She really made us feel welcome. I’m sure all the servers are great but if you go there with your kids, you’ll be in good hands with Chelsea.
Great service and great coffee! Went there for breakfast and was very impressed. Food was great and came hot and quickly. If you want a new spot it is not too far and worth the drive. The bill was $10 cheaper ( for two people) than some of the other diners in the area. P.S. I forgot to take a picture of my food before I ate it so it is half eaten! The only thing that would make it better is if they had gluten free toast.
Just the perfect breakfast for dinner joint. Waitstaff was personable, knowledgeable and friendly.
I liked it and I would stop in there again. It seems to be a local favorite too. It's a quaint dinner short walk from an ultra fast EV charger near the interstate. There are 17 booths and tables for 4 and barstools at the counter. Chelsea was our server. Super friendly, informative and thoughtful, even during a busy and short-staffed day. The menu is very diversified, with options for everyone. The panini Ruben, the steak and lobster and the quesadillas were recommended. The kids had a vanilla and strawberry milkshake that looked delicious; they disappeared quickly. I had an iced tea, with half sweet and half unsweetened. The Pepsi was out and Chelsea fixed it right away, bring a fresh drink to the table. We ordered a Ruben panini, a steak panini, a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with macaroni salad, and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Prices were fair and portions were generous. The steak panini was a little tough, but the bread was good. The potato wedges/ fries were tasty, the macaroni salad was good but could use a little sweetness. The coleslaw is really good. It was tasty, well seasoned and juicy. We shared a coconut cream pie piece for dessert. It was good but overpriced for a small piece. They have a ramp at the side for wheelchair accessibility but you have to request access. The restrooms are clean, well lit and well equipped. There is a simple kids menu, and boaster seats and highchairs available for young customers.
Been several times. Loved it. Food great, reasonable prices. Nice portions. Have been there for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend. Staff wonderful!!
