So tonight was my second time grabbing food from here (I’ve literally been thinking about it nonstop since the 1st time) and y’all it is SO GOOD!! The fries are addicting for real. The owner is the best and makes the food with so much love. Also it’s affordable and portion sizes are huge! Definitely my new favorite spot in Knoxville.
The food was hygienic and appetizing. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the only suggestion I have is to open the bun on one end only. Leaves a wee bit of less mess. Halal food & quick service!

We visited Abu Sofya on a Monday night when visiting from Chicago. Ali, the owner, was extremely friendly. We had the cheese burger and fries and were pretty satisfied. There aren't many halal places in the area and so it was great to see a truck with fresh halal food. Fries were a bit hard but the burgers hit the spot.
AMAZING shawarma!! If you want middle eastern - find this truck! Got the shawarma plate with fries and the white sauce, hit the spot for sure
Update: 1/5/2023 I went back late night one day and got the cheeseburger and it was amazing! So I update the place from 3 to 4 stars! 11/5/2023 Chicken Sandwich. I just wished the chicken size was a little bigger, it was not flavored well either, I was extremely disappointed and thought I wouldn't be back.
THE BEST food truck in Knoxville.! I eat there quite often and never have i ever been disappointed. Every is always fresh and very tasty! Chicken shawarma wrap is my top choice. Great prices and the owner is always very nice and with a smile on his face. If you haven’t eaten there yet you’re missing out!!!!
So 1 these aren't cheese steaks they are kofta rolls- delicious regardless! 2 we got grape leaves, the tri meat plate, Hummus and rice- EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING Best Egyptian food I've had in knox And the man working was so so nice very personable 10/10 recommend will be going back!
