Came here on Monday and enjoyed a very good brunch with my group of friends :) Made the review because I have been thinking about their delicious “Mont Royal” poutine I had all week. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you
A good fast food joint near Mont Royal. The foods were yummy and greasy as it should be. Great place to stop by for some affordable casse-croûte. The staff were super nice, but the service was particularly slow for an early afternoon. They were obviously short staffed and were mostly focused with the deliveries. The atmosphere was nice with the garage door open. Nice cold beer.
This place is everything we wanted in a greasy spoon. Feels like where the locals go. Old school diner vibes, hot dogs and crispy hand cut fries. We shared a bowl of poutine, the gravy was very tasty, great curds and flavor! We are happy we stopped!
This is a classic dog spot. Nothing else can be said, but I will say more. The restaurant felt super nostalgic and rustic. It was clean and had a little bar in the back, which was interesting. The food was exactly what you'd expect. Fries were hand-cut and well-made; dogs were on point. Poutine looked good. The only reason it's getting a 4 is because we sat down when there were maybe four other people in the restaurant, and it took like 20-25 minutes for two hot dogs and fries. We weren't in a rush, just hungry. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
Friendly diner in a quebecois atmosphere. Lots of seating, big menu. The fries came out a bit oily but turned out to be excellent. Coffee was always refilled, thanks to the server she is always here and has great energy.
Went with a couple friends for brunch this week, food was great service was great too! The cook paid attention to my substitutions and was careful to double check to make sure! Thoughtful and I recommend! :))
The Meat Sandwich was really really good. Also the fries were fresh and tasted very good. The lasagna could have been better. Would definitely recommend this place tho
One of the better poutine places in montreal. All the elements for a good poutine are respected: good fries, tasty good quality gravy and cheese curds that squeek. Tried the "Mont Royal" poutine with bacon, pepperoni, sausage, peppers and mushrooms. Definitely recommend. They also have good subs and other items.
Old-school Greek owned pataterie. The pork souvlaki are to die for, tzatziki is top notch. Everything else I’ve tried on the menu is delicious, particularly their salads, dressing is very creamy. Nice personal touch to thank the customers on the delivery bag (see below)
Really delicious poutine, the pepperoni and bacon were extra crispy. The service however was lacklustre, my friend and I sat for 10min before getting a menu and the place was barely filled. Beers were a tad more expensive as well with 8$ for a bottle of Coors.
The new ownership is a good change. Very excellent food and service. Thank you to chef Damian who always cooks the fries perfect to my liking! (Crispy Not Soggy!)
