We visited and returned to the chicken, pork and fish vendors here. Excellent fresh proteins. Many other kiosks, however not all open every time we visited.
Very nice public market. Produce, seafood and meats with lots of food stands with wonderful aromas.
Great little market for local produce and authentic food
Nice but expensive market in La Paz. Prices are on the high end, for example 60 pesos for a small plate of rice. The speciality and focus here is smoothies with many vendors having this in so many different varieties.
I love this place! It's like an indoor farmers market. Today we bought fresh, local jumbo shrimp We had lunch at Loncheria Morena. Empanadas with a beef and potato stuffing. Chili rellenos and beef tacos. Frijoles too. Todos muy excellante! After, we bought jumbo avocados and a pineapple. It's worth the walk through experience even if you are too timid to buy anything.
I just love Mercados,so much to discover ,so much to try and see . Any city I visit in MX ,Mercados are one of my must go places . In la Paz in fact there are 2 one is where you can find great homemade food and the other is souvenirs and handcrafted items.
Interesting little fresh market. Numerous custom juice stands as well as fresh empanadas and other food. You can eat there or take it away.
Great experience. The vegetable booth I went to accepted credit cards. I also bought a fresh squeezed jugo verde with pineapple, celery, parsley, spinach, and nopal -- 45 pesos for 16 ounces. Good stuff!
