⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Olomi’s Grill This place absolutely caught me off guard—in the best possible way. From the outside, it looks like a humble mom-and-pop spot. Nothing flashy. But the moment the food hit the table, I knew I was in for something special. I ordered a plate that was personally recommended by the chef, and wow… the lamb was insanely tender, perfectly cooked, and full of deep, comforting flavor. The rice was light, fluffy, and aromatic, not dry or heavy at all—each grain perfectly separated and seasoned just right. Then came the surprise: the toppings. The sautéed carrots and raisins on top weren’t just a garnish—they completed the dish. That sweet-savory balance added another layer that turned the whole plate into an experience. Every bite felt intentional. The salad deserves its own shout-out. Fresh, crisp, and unexpectedly Greek-style with feta cheese that tied everything together beautifully. Clean, refreshing, and the perfect contrast to the warm spices of the main dish. Presentation? On point. Flavor? Explosive. Portion? Generous. I’ll be honest—I licked the plate. No regrets. If you appreciate real cooking, made with care and pride, this place is a hidden gem. You can feel that the kitchen is run by someone who truly knows and respects the food. I’ll absolutely be back—and next time, I’m bringing people with me.
If you’re craving something flavorful and a little different, Olomi’s Grill is a wonderful surprise. I walked in as a family was placing a big order, and even then I was greeted right away by a warm, friendly gentleman who helped me choose the beef kebab—tender, beautifully seasoned, and incredibly delicious. I honestly couldn’t believe the quality of the food for the price. Truly a diamond in the rough. They serve authentic Afghan and Middle Eastern halal dishes, with standout kebabs and hearty options like lamb shank and Kabuli Pulao. The space is clean and welcoming, the prices are fair, and they offer plenty of gluten-free and takeout options. Great food, great value, great people. I’ll definitely be back.
Really enjoyed the experience here, food was amazing and delicious , owners are very nice and friendly. Lamb was cooked perfectly, along with everything else we ordered, chicken, beef, rice, all of it was juicy and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend this place to everyone both near and far. After wifey and i spoke with the owners because we had to tell them how hood the food was, we found out that we use to eat at there other spot in NY before they moved, what a small world, and what validation that good food is good food nomatter where you are.
Best kept secret of Atlanta. Amazing food. Try the salad here with your kebabs - you will not be disappointed no matter what you order. But highly recommend the platters
Small spot with limited dining space. Food was good, beef burger was juicy & flavorful. Soup was unique, Chapli platter was good, chicken platter was better, it’s more like a self serve style.
Came in as a party of 4. Ordered the $85 platter. The owner/host was not affable and he was not jovial, so I guess business must be good The $85 platter is more suitable for a party of 3 hungry-adult-men, up to 6 adults is reaching for the stars. Overall, decent Afghan/Mediterranean option in the area....Will I be back? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Olomi's Grill such delicious Afghan food, juicy kabobs!! The rice was super tasty along with the amazing kabobs. Fairly priced and still felt healthy light after the meal. Inside was clean well decorated. Chapli kabobs also very good definitely will order them again. Platter we ordered had a good variety of meats and rice to split among us. Highly recommend trying Olomi's, very authentic food!
It’s afgani fast food. Freshly cooked. Lack some that afgani authenticity nevertheless worth every dollar.
