My Korean friend recommended I go here and said the food is great and she emphasized that the place is very, very clean. I came in for lunch and the place was busy and hopping but I didn’t have to wait to be seated. You can select everything that you want to your own taste and add to your broth. And for this price point, it’s an amazing deal. All you can eat for $19.99 and that includes the buffet, meats, dessert, tea, and I had the angus beef. You order the meats off the menu. Also, they make their kimchi in-house and it’s delicious!
Went to dinner with a group of six. By default, they served us the House Veggie broth, although we later found out there are five other broth options available. We weren’t sure why our server didn’t ask for our broth preference, as the pot was already filled with veggie broth when we were seated. There is a self-service bar with vegetables, fish cakes, noodles, and more. Some specialty items can be ordered separately (included in the pricing), along with the meat selections. We dined for nearly two hours, and every order of meat — ribeye, brisket, and Angus beef — was consistently good quality and served in generous portions, enough to share among six adult males. House shabu sauces can be ordered, or you can customize your own at the sauce bar. The self-serve bingsu was surprisingly tasty, although the topping selection was somewhat limited. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday and waited about 50 minutes, with five parties ahead of us. The only downside was the tight seating. If you’re seated inside and need to step out, everyone in your row has to stand up, which can be inconvenient.
It was my first time in a Korean restaurant and also trying Korean hotpot but I was NOT disappointed. Ryan was such a great server. He took his time to explain everything we needed to know and came by intermittently to check on us and even remind us of the free dessert! The service was great. Atmosphere incredible. Music splendid. In fact 10/10 will definitely come by again when I’m around . RYAN, keep it up! You doing great sweetheart
Gom Shabu was such a good experience. The make your own sauce bar was one of my favorite parts because you can customize everything exactly how you like it. There’s also a buffet with all the sides and vegetables you can add into the soup, and everything looked fresh and well stocked. The place had a really nice, relaxed vibe and didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can take your time, talk, and enjoy the meal. The staff was friendly and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The shabu shabu itself was really good, especially with all the options you can mix and match. The free ice bingsoo was also a great part! It’s a fun spot to go with family or friends, and I’d definitely come back again.
This is easily my go-to hot pot spot. The quality here is consistently top-tier — especially the meat, which is always fresh, well-cut, and cooks perfectly every time. You can tell they don’t cut corners. The veggie bar is loaded with great options, the sauce bar lets you customize exactly how you want things, and the dessert bar is a clutch finish after a big meal. Everything is clean, well organized, and thoughtfully done. The broths are rich and flavorful, the ingredients are fresh across the board, and the whole experience just hits every time. It’s a place you can bring friends, family, or a date and know it’ll be a win.
Great place for fresh and flavorful hot pot! The salad bar is one of the highlights, with unlimited refills of fresh vegetables that are always crisp and well maintained. In addition to the vegetables, you can also enjoy a variety of Korean dishes such as tteokbokki, japchae, and kimchi, which makes the meal even more satisfying. The broth options are well seasoned, and it’s fun to customize your own hot pot. A nice bonus is the make-your-own patbingsu (Korean shaved ice) after the meal, which is refreshing and enjoyable. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, perfect for dining with friends or family. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, which really enhances the experience. Overall, Dal Shabu Hot Pot is an excellent choice in Annandale for high-quality ingredients, great service, and a fun dining experience. I would definitely come back!
I had lunch at Dal Shabu Shabu in Annandale Today and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I came for the $19.99 lunch buffet, and honestly, the value is amazing for the quality you get. The ingredients were very fresh, especially the vegetables, meats, and hot pot items. Everything was clean, well-organized, and constantly refilled, which shows they really care about quality and consistency. The broth options were flavorful without being too heavy, and the overall taste was balanced and comforting. You can tell they focus on quality over shortcuts, which is not always easy to find in buffet-style restaurants. The service was another highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help without being intrusive. Plates were cleared promptly, and the overall atmosphere was calm, clean, and enjoyable—perfect for a relaxed lunch. For the price, the quality, and the service, this place truly stands out. If you’re looking for a great shabu shabu buffet with excellent value, Dal Shabu Shabu is absolutely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic lunch here with godparents! The food was delicious and fresh, with lots of nourishing, well-being choices. They even served patbingsu for dessert, made with handmade sweet red beans that tasted truly authentic. We also loved the flow of the meal, from shabu-shabu to mixed rice and then authentic Korean dessert. The whole experience felt like a thoughtful “course” meal, perfect for peaceful and meaningful conversations with friends and family. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive. She checked on us carefully and personally served the dessert. The entrance also had a beautifully decorated Valentine photo zone, and we took a wonderful photo there. Highly recommend!
