I visited Hello India Restaurant today and tried their Chicken Biryani and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I came all the way from St. Louis, and I’ve never tasted a biryani in the St.Louis that gave me such a true India feel. The price is very reasonable, and the quantity is more than enough, 2 chicken biryanis can easily serve 3 people. The flavors were rich, and spice is perfectly balanced. I highly recommend everyone to try this place if you want authentic Indian taste. Definitely worth it!
Nice place to go for breakfast and chai. We had Ghee podi dosa and Mysor masala Dosa for breakfast. The chai was very good but coffee was made very blunt. The coffee tecoction was strong on chicory.
We hosted our kid’s birthday function here for about 40 people. The hall is very nice and perfect for gatherings of 40–50 guests and they also provided a projector so we could play our memories which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent. All our guests appreciated every item, especially the Mutton Pulav, Veg Kheema Biryani, and Curry Leaf Chicken. Thank you Bhanu for arranging everything we requested without hesitation and Hari for coordinating the entire event smoothly from food service until the end. I would definitely recommend this place for any small function. Great experience
Hello India is a simple yet flavorful restaurant in a lively area of Plano. They offer a wide variety of tasty dishes at reasonable prices with service available from morning till midnight. Though the dine-in space is small and often busy, it’s popular for takeouts. One of my personal favorites is their baby corn—definitely a must-try! They also have a party hall, perfect for hosting small gatherings or celebrations. If you’re looking for delicious Indian food or a convenient party venue, give Hello India a try—you might just love it!
This location of Hello India reminds me of evenings back home..endless conversations, laughter, and a strong, hot cup of chai in hand. Most chai places in DFW are such a letdown: weak flavor, overloaded with sugar, and that sad, watery milk. Every evening, the back parking lot fills up with real chai lovers, standing around, talking, sipping. That sight alone soothes my nostalgic heart. I don’t usually come here for food, but there’s a hidden gem worth knowing about—Thiru (Thirumal), one of the chefs. He makes the best dosas. Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and finished with just the right amount of ghee - I drool every time I think about it. I’ve also had the dahi chaat and chicken curry made by him, and they were really good. This guy loves good food! I genuinely care about good-quality food and have tried dosas all over the area. The only other place that comes close lately is Simply South—and that’s for twice the price. For real, visit my friend Thiru on Thursdays, sip on chai while wait for your dosa. Bonus: he always serves them with a big, warm, genuine smile and somehow, that makes the food taste even better. I am all for supporting good food in the crowd of decor and good photo worthy sad n pricey food!
The service provided by Hari (Sri) is top notched, he is very dedicated person, lots of positive attitude and very patient, he has made our event services as smooth as possible. He took care of everything and replaced the food on time Without us telling him, overall very good service by him. 5/5 for his service. About food, they have provide very good amount of food quantities, it is more than sufficient , it’s hygiene , but when it comes to taste few of the items are not up to the mark, taste wise improvement needed. Overall we had a good experience and we enjoyed our event in hello India banquet hall. Thank you.
We are truly grateful to Hello India Catering for such a beautiful experience with our catering order this past weekend. The food was made with care, and Bhanu handled everything with so much patience, honesty, and kindness. From the very beginning, he treated us like family, and that alone won our hearts and our trust. We will absolutely be ordering from him again. When we dine in, Thiru always makes us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. His warm presence, thoughtful service, and the way he cares for every guest turn a simple meal into a meaningful experience. It’s because of people like him that this place feels so special to us. Thank you to the entire team for putting heart into what you do. It truly shows.
If you are looking for authentic South Indian flavors but don't care about any frills attached, this is the place to try. Casual ambience. Food tastes scrumptious. Their BOGO Free Dosa on Thursdays is the best deal. Forgot to mention Irani Chai...its addictive
