India Clay Oven

I just read the last two reviews which was very obviously sent by 2 people in the same group in an effort to bring their overall rating down. Thats just super lame. I’ve eaten here many many times and did yesterday again. I witnessed this interaction and on multiple times saw the owner try to accommodate you. Your group was simply out of line. A gratuity included in larger tables is commonplace. Generally the server cannot take other tables because of the attention and time larger groups require. Oftentimes this ends up being their only tip for the night. Indian Clay is amazing. The staff and owners are always kind and accommodating. They go out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. Eat here. You will not be disappointed.

Wow. The food was so amazing at dinner that we went back for lunch the next day. We travel a lot and have been to many Indian restaurants in many different cities. The good news: we have found our favorite! The bad news: we live 3+ hours away in Kansas City. But rest assured, we will eat here any time that we visit Branson. I can only assume that the recent negative reviews were posted by a competitor because the service was excellent. Jay was an exceptionally gracious host and server.

All I can say is wow! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Biryani to go. The portions were big and the flavors were great as well. I also ordered Garlic Naan and I was amazing with both dishes. Overall a very delicious meal!!! Will come back next time I'm in the area.

This was mine and my husband‘s first time trying Indian food, and we are in love with this place and the atmosphere and the people who run the restaurant! We told the young man and the lady who were helping us here tonight that we’ve never had Indian food before and they helped us order and gave suggestions and needless to say they did not disappoint! We definitely plan on coming back here when we come back to town!

First visit! Food was very good! Love that us was served family style. Got to try both dishes. (Chicken korma and Butter chicken with garlic naan bread) They brought us rice pudding at the end. We will be back!

We have been coming to India Clay Oven for years now. Their food is delicious and their service is wonderful. The vegetable pakora and lasoni gobi (spicy cauliflower) are my favorite appetizers and often eat them as my meal itself. Their tikka masala dishes are some of the best I've had and they have a large variety of proteins. I've loved coming here since I was a kid and intend to keep coming for their amazing food.

This is a must visit. The staff was amazing, balanced checking in but not disturbing the meal and very cordial. The food was simply amazing. They have a great selection of naan and other breads. I highly recommend the spinach paratha. The tandoori chicken and shrimp were fantastic, well flavored but not over done. We really enjoyed their masala chai and the ras malai for dessert. The atmosphere was subdued and elegant and again the staff was phenomenal. Only in Branson for a couple days but we will visit again before we leave.
