Had dinner yesterday and I was positively surprised. Amazing location and atmosphere. They have also bands playing and hold quizzes if not mistaken. Nice experience, we sat outdoors
Amazing experience for my husband’s birthday. First time to visit here and we were blown away. Place is packed with locals so you know that it is high quality food! We tried their 3-course-meal for two adults, risotto and burger for the kids. We especially love their dessert samplers. The ambiance was very cozy, with Sinterklaas decors that time so great photo experience for the kids. Reservation is highly recommended.
Had lunch on a Friday, very few people. Quiet pleasant lunch, the burger was great. Will definitely come back.
Great restaurant with excellent food and service. I ordered the salmon, dish of the day, and it was fantastic. The salmon was cooked perfectly, served with vegetables that complemented it beautifully. All the flavors worked really well together. Highly recommended!
This is one of the 40 forts built between 1880 and 1920 to protect the city and Amsterdam. It's a brutalistic building that has been turned into one of the best restaurants in the Netherlands. I had the tomato soup and the entrecote. Both were well made and absolutely delicious. Don't pass on the pepper sauce !
Burgers, steak and sweet potato fries are really great. Food is simple in a good way, good ingredients, great technique - it just works. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
