Restaurant Gourmindia Luzern

Very nice ambience and lovely service by Sam. We ordered paneer tikka masala and dal Makhni along with laccha paratha! Everything tasted very nice and fresh. Though prices are a bit steep but guess that’s how it is in the country.

I ate in a lot of restaurants with Indian food but this one was special as it was also my gift to myself to celebrate my name day. I really enjoyed the food, the service of Mr Sam was impeccable and the food was amazing. I fell in love with the red pepper in the mango drink. I usually don’t like these sweet cocktails but everybody was praising it so I went for it. And haven’t regretted it. When in Lucerne, I will be definitely back again. Thank you, Sam!

Awesome food, after a week of eating Spanish food finally settled with some spicy food.

Indeed a must visit place ! We visited this place almost every night we stayed in Lucerne.. The food is incredibly delicious We tried a lots of recipes and none of them had disappointed us !! Highly recommended !!

What a delightful surprise in Luzern. After days of cheese, pork, and potatoes, it was wonderful to have some exceptionally flavorful food. The Paneer Tikka Masala, the Spinach and Cheese Naan, and the Mango Spritzer were favorites. The service was friendly and very attentive. We had a wonderful evening.

We found this place on Google after visiting for the day and wow were we not disappointed. The service, the decor and the food is 10/10. Natalie is a true treasure and made us feel extremely comfortable. Highly recommended for some good food.

The food at this restaurant deserves nothing less than a 5 star. I’ve been travelling across Europe and have been very disasppointed with indian food restaurants that I’ve been to. The food at this restaurant did not just meet my expectations but exceeded it. The naans were cooked to perfection and currys were the right amount of Indian spicy. Truly authentic. The cocktails were amazing. This is a must have at Lucerne. The only area of improvement that i can think of is to have improved ventilation as they did not have air conditioning in the indoor seating.

We had such a great experience at Gourmindia in Luzern. The food was fantastic ~ full of flavour and beautifully balanced. The portion sizes were generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. We started with their sharing tower of starters, which was so tasty and a perfect way to try a bit of everything. The curries (lamb, prawn, and chicken) were all spot on ~ just spicy enough to enjoy the heat without overpowering the flavours. And if it’s a bit much, their cooling cucumber and yoghurt raita does the trick perfectly. The naan breads were fresh and fluffy, and the mocktails were delicious too. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, recommending dishes that turned out to be absolute winners. We’ll definitely be back! 10 out of 10 would recommend.
