Woopi Tandoori Nights Indian Restaurant

Vege and vegan family dining at 5:30pm. BYO. Nice outdoor seating area. Prompt service. We were initially concerned about our experience due to previous negative reviews but they were unfounded on our visit. Food arrived on time and was fresh. Taste was on par or better than most other Indian restaurants. They had a seperate vegan menu but only a handful of entrees and mains available on that menu.

Had the most amazing dinner here while visiting woolgoolga. Service was spot on. Reasonably priced. Lamb Samosa was delicious Chicken tika masala Rogan Josh was superb not to mention the nann bread

Fantastic service and a delicious meal. We ordered one curry per person to share with a large rice and it ended up being the perfect amount. We were worried we were ordering way too much food, but the portion sizing was just perfect. This was great as it allowed us to try multiple items, all of which were devoured so quickly. Scrumptious meal and great service!

Chicken Tikka Masala had hardly any chicken, was not enough for two people, all sauce no substance. Otherwise a very tasty meal, spiced perfectly. I would rather pay a bit extra to have more chicken than pay $18 for a takeaway container of sauce. It’s a shame as it was my favourite takeaway in Woolgoolga but in the recent year or so they have been cost cutting on the quantity of meat.

Delicious Indian food and great service at Tandoori Nights, Woolgoolga. The menu provides lots of choices and staff are happy to accomodate how spicy you like your food. Traditional Indian music & a comfortable setting make this a nice place to dine.

Amazing staff and incredible food, my partner and I enjoyed an extra hot lamb korma with coconut rice and butter chicken with peshwari naan for our main with some poppadoms and onion bhaji as starters! The food was sensational and one of the best Indians we’ve had in a while! Also you can BYO!

Delicious, well priced, consistent quality and friendly staff. Our families go to lunch spot on Sundays! We love the dosa and chole bhature :)

Woopi Tandoori Nights never disappoints! The food is always full of flavor, freshly made, and absolutely delicious – easily the best Indian cuisine in the area - the only criticism would be more meat in the sauce would be amazing. Special shoutout to the lovely delivery lady who consistently delivers with a smile and warm energy. She goes above and beyond every single time, making the whole experience even better. Great food, great service – highly recommend!

2nd visit in June 2025....oh dear, nowhere near as good this time. Three very bland curries with similar tasting sauces, and slow service. 1st visit - Loved our dinner experience here. Goat curry spot on!

As an Indian food lover, I have eaten many curries. This restaurant was right up there. WOW. We shared the Lahori Goat Curry with sweet mango chutney , rice and Naan, also Prawn Malabar with onion and tomato, coconut banana, rice and a roti. The sauces were obviously prepared with care and love. The side dishes were delish and the breads were hot and fresh. Highly recommended.
