Freshies Maui

Enjoyed brunch and coffee here at a quiet Maui town, Makawao. Wait staff, mainly cashier there was friendly even my party took bit of long time to decide and order food. All menu items are on a wall, difficult to explore and decide at first. Like all other Hawaiian restaurants, the price tag does not always justify the quality and content of foods. But here at Freahies, most of omelets and drinks my family ordered were decent and nicely presented. Outside courtyard area next to big trees was perfect for enjoying Hawaiian breeze.

Amazing food within downtown Makawao. Ate in their beautiful little courtyard area. Got the omelette but ended up wishing I got the breakfast Sammy because look how good it looks!

Great place. Love the indoor outdoor atmosphere. Bbq was delicious. Beans aren't showy but very good. Yaki soba noodle salad was the best salad I've had in a long time.

The food was great and came out quickly.. And that’s what we came for.. so all worth it! Service.. meh.. wouldn’t say anyone was hospitable.. The only thing we heard was.. are you ready to order? (Restaurant Tip) I would always start with a welcome in at least.. It’s just too easy to not greet people on vacation. They do ask for a tip when you pay, but you will not get any service beyond the counter.. No coffee or tea refills. Atmosphere.. The greeting set the tone, tables were dirty, ppl were just standing around waiting to order while others held tables..

I really liked this place! Got the curry with tofu, and the ambiance was great and everyone was nice. Tasty!

Nice place to get vegan food . You can inside or outside a tree. Nice place on way to Kula or Haleakala. Great vegetarian options .

What a perfect stop on our way back from the Haleakala Summit. This restaurant has amazing service, friendly and attentive! Our coffee was never empty, and our meal came out hot. The was tasty but, the atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely the best.
