Was in Lakeland for my daughters dance competition this morning (RP Funding Center) and was given a suggestion to come here for lunch. Fantastic for a small joint. Priced perfectly. Awesome and friendly staff and will definitely be my go-to when visiting. Small seating capacity (I believe 7-8 table tops?) They change their menu slightly changes weekly and fully once per month so be sure to check their website for the menu and not the photos. I the Gyro with side potato salad Wife had mango curry Kid had the beet based burger with side of potato salad.
This is their Beet Matt sandwich - a breaded beet patty on a toasted brioche bun with special sauce, red onions, pickles, and lettuce. Accompanied with mac and cheese. All vegan and totally scrumptious.
Vegetation is worth every mile of the drive — and I gladly make the two-hour trip just for the experience. This is not just a restaurant; it’s a destination for anyone who loves food as both nourishment and art. Rima has truly mastered her craft. Her menu changes every week, which is a masterful expression of creativity and keeps the dining experience fresh and exciting. Each dish is thoughtfully composed, blending ingredients, spices, and flavors into combinations that are as surprising as they are delicious. The presentation is nothing short of culinary artistry: plates arrive looking like works of art, and the taste matches the beauty. Service is impeccable. Warm, attentive, and genuine, the staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The restaurant itself is spotless, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to let the food and the atmosphere shine together. It’s rare to find a place where everything comes together so flawlessly — from concept to execution. Rima has nailed it all the way around, making Vegetation one of the best of the best. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is
We come here often & I love love love the maple dijon bowl & the delicious soups. The desserts are amazing. Steve loves the Korean Tacos & the gyro. The flavors explode in your mouth. The people are so friendly & make your dining experience wonderful. So grateful we have this place. Inside is so cosy and sweet.
This is the BEST vegan cafe in central Florida. We got the mac and cheese, the burrito bowl, go go bar, iced coffee, grilled cheese and tomato soup and the strawberry parfait and EVERYTHING was a 10/10. Nothing in Orlando or Tampa can compare!
Best Vegan spot in Lakeland by far. The dishes are always packed with flavors, and creative. The drinks are perfectly made. The staff is welcoming and the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing. It’s a bit small so if you’re planning to come with a large group it’ll probably be tight, but the cozy atmosphere is part of the personality of this location.
The food was absolutely delicious—a pleasant surprise, considering the experience upon arrival. We weren’t greeted when we walked in, and although it was great to see all the tables full, we stood around for about ten minutes while staff passed us multiple times without acknowledgment. The menu is quite limited, and we noticed several people eating items that weren’t listed, which was confusing. As first-time visitors, a little guidance on how to order or what was available would have made a big difference. The grab-and-go cooler was nearly empty, and we weren’t offered water or even pointed in the right direction to find any. Overall, the customer service left a lot to be desired—we nearly walked out. That said, we’re glad we stayed. The food was fantastic, and our taste buds were very happy in the end. With just a few improvements in hospitality, this place could easily become a favorite.
Food was delicious I drove from Dade City Fl.and it was definitely worth the drive! I had the loaded nachos. Very fresh flavors. Delicious service was excellent. What’s your name? Amaris was my server and she is Awesome! I’ll be Back!
