Dolce Bene

A really good Italian restaurant. We never heard of it but found a table for Valentine’s Day and had a good time. It’s BYOB - so bring something, no bar. Plenty of parking out back. Food was very good - I tried 3 things. We didn’t try any apps but the bread is amazing. It’s basically garlic knots with a garlic pesto oil they bring out. Fire. NY Strip - quite good. Nice thick cut, excellent flavor. Was ordered med rare and came out medium but still hit the spot. Linguine with seafood (di mare). - the sauce was ok (light flavor, could use a bit more seasoning and garlic) but the seafood was perfect - fresh and flavorful. I wanted more shrimp but it came with a nice lobster tail. A good choice. Pollo Verona - this was the hit. Excellent kind of smoky flavor. Good portion, perfectly cooked.

My husband and I found this gem of a restaurant a couple of years ago and it's worth the trip for us to return often. We have never been disappointed. The food and the presentations are a work of art and beyond delicious. The owner greets us each time as if we were family and he is always present. He goes over the massive list of daily specials, and alters orders upon request. The food is top quality and the menu and the specials are expansive and extraordinary!

Delicious, freshly prepared food. Large menu with daily specials. Our favorite restaurant. Tonight we had eggplant rollatini to start, I enjoyed my Salmon in Scampi sauce and my husband loved the Cod Special served over linguini, we shared our favorite dessert - lemon cello cake. Wonderful!!

I rarely write reviews but we recently had our daughters post baptism lunch here and it was really special - Benny was amazing in communicating logistics of the party (we’re high maintenance), food was AMAZING, service was fantastic, and the restaurant atmosphere was perfect. Thank you Benny and team

This place was amazing! We had the flounder francese and the veal parm. Both were excellent. It was the best flounder francese I ever had. The focaccia bread was also excellent. I could have made a meal out of the focaccia and dip alone. The restaurant was well appointed and the owner was very attentive. Bocelli playing in the background just added to the experience. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. The prices were comparable to other restaurants however the one disappointment was the extra credit card fee. Food prices are high enough and the customer already has to subsidize the service, now we are forced to pay for credit card fees. It's not easy to always carry cash.

Delicious Italian food! In addition to great main courses we ordered two appetiser specials, bang bang shrimp and Italian wedding soup and we both were thrilled with our choices. We met the restaurant's owner, Ben, and he and the young man who was assisting him, took good care of us. I look forward to going again.

I had an amazing experience here. The food was outstanding — full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with real care. The quality was even better than I expected, and our dinners tasted incredible. The service was excellent from start to finish as well. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. What really impressed us was that the manager actually came over to introduce himself and chat with us. Since it was our first time visiting, he even brought out some of their homemade port wine for us to try. It was a thoughtful, personal touch that really made the night special. Overall, fantastic food, top-notch service, and a warm atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!
