Gondolier Italian Restaurant

My wife is generally very picky with Italian food. She actually left the food. The food came out hot and the waitress was very friendly. It was a great experience. The portions were large and it is for sure a great value. This was our first time as we are from West Knoxville but we will for sure come back.

What the heck happened to cheesecake portions? Come on now , same price for half the dessert slice ? The cake slice per usual size , the Baklava same usual serving . I think maybe the new lady did not know?

Stopped in for a few slices of cake. The Italian cake is amazing. We've dined in in the past as well. The crowds are an indication of how well this place is. We will always return. Definitely recommend. We've eaten many items on their menu and have never been disappointed.

Waiter was prompt and properly attentive during my visit. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty.I think the tables need some heavy duty cleaning, as the tops , although clean, are rather tacky feeling. (Sticky)

Great restaurant with delicious homestyle food. Good sized portions and good value. Spaghetti was great and the garlic breadsticks are fantastic. The pizza was really good and loaded with cheese and the toppings I asked for. They skipped on nothing. Service was great and attentive.

It’s all ok. Menu is so huge it’s not able to all fresh. There’s a catch here. The marinara has a special spice in it (I’m not telling what it is). And it works. I’ve never heard of it before but it works. Let the bay leaf in the sauce
