When you're looking for good Italian food and a great drink, a great option is to visit Terroni da Young. I visited the establishment a few times (always in the afternoon for lunch), and each experience was excellent. The restaurant building is incredible, with beautifully decorated spaces, including an outdoor patio, an indoor dining room on the ground floor, a huge dining room on the first floor—which houses the pizzeria, a bar, and a private area—and the second floor, which houses the rooftop terrace—which features an indoor dining room and an outdoor bar. All the spaces are simply beautiful. Regarding how to get there: if you're driving, there are private parking lots in the area, as well as paid street parking. If you're using public transportation, the 97B and C buses pass in front of the establishment, and the Rosadale station also provides access to the restaurant. Regarding accessibility, the building has stairs to access the floors, but also an elevator. The floor is level, allowing access to wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. The doors open automatically, and the restrooms are adapted for customers. For families with children, the restrooms have changing tables, and the restaurant has highchairs for children. My experience with the service has always been very good, from reception to leaving the restaurant. This is very pleasing, as good service is essential for a good experience, in addition to the food. The menu is quite extensive, with excellent options for appetizers, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Some options are designed to share and include a tip on which drink to pair with the dish. The drinks menu also has excellent options, generally with good prices, although the wines are quite substantial. All dishes are well-served, well-presented, and very tasty. It's definitely a place to put on your list of places to visit.
We ordered the chanterelle risotto — it was absolutely delicious! Fresh homemade bread, baked right there — you can really taste the care. The house-made ice cream was delightful, and the cocktails were amazing too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. A wonderful place — everything we ordered was perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!
First time at Terroni mid town, it was as always a great night at a Terroni restaurant! I took my friend who is visiting me from Vancouver to this place and we had a friend’s reunion. We ordered extra dry red wine which Jordan (the staff who was taking care of our table) recommended and we all loved it! We also ordered Puzza pizza which had mushrooms, mascarpone, and ham. As dessert, we had Tiramisu which surprised us with its texture and taste! The vibes were so good and staff are very friendly! Well done Terroni team!
I love Terronis on Price St, whether for a quick bite or a drink at the bar, dinner or a date night. I love their patio, don’t expect a view because it’s mid town but the patio itself is super cute! I am not sure which days/nights they have a DJ but that definitely adds on to the great atmosphere! Drinks are good, food is good, staff is good, a pretty safe place to go and enjoy a few couple of hours! They get very busy on the evenings and specially over the weekends, make a reso if you don’t want to be waiting in line.
The Pappardelle Iowa was absolutely delicious! We really appreciated the friendly and professional service from Dragutin. The decor is also lovely and adds to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We visited Terroni with a group of 8, appetizers were good. I was very excited for the pasta though, I ordered the truffle pasta. The pasta itself was cooked very well and you can tell they use quality ingredients, but the dish was a bit lacking in overall flavour. The truffle was subtle to the point where it felt muted, and I think it really could have benefited from more sauce and a richer, more pronounced flavour profile. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not as bold or memorable as expected given Terroni’s reputation. On the other hand, the tiramisu was outstanding easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly balanced, creamy, and not overly sweet, and definitely lived up to the hype many reviewers mention. The vibes were great as well: lively, bustling, cute vibes, with a warm Italian atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a dinner out or a social gathering. Overall, it was a solid experience with great ambiance and an excellent dessert, but the main pasta dish could use a bit more depth and flavour to really shine.
