Diner's Corner serves truly authentic Jamaican food with natural ingredients, not fast food greasy. We felt respected, with nice conversation as we waited for our dine-in order. If you're craving homemade Jamaican cuisine and elegantly plated, then it is a must-visit stop.

The food is absolutely amazing. Had the jerk chicken and red pea soup and my friend had goat curry and ackee and OMG it was amazing. And our server, Grace, was the best. She deserves a raise! Cannot recommend enough!

Generally okay place. I had the roti and the jerk chicken. I lovedddd the roti but the jerk chicken was salty to me, which i feel like shouldve been better cause it's a jamaican spot and all. Overall they were friendly, just wished my server filled my water cup more often cause i was running out a lot LOL. Place was nicely decorated, though music was kinda loud for me cause I like to talk to the person I'm watinf with.

I was welcomed with a cool and modest vibe. I've had the jerk chicken with rice and salad, the menu had a lot of great items like curry chicken and goat. The server was kind enough to give me different sauces and complimentary tasting cocktails. The jerk chicken tasted pretty good. I'd love to try other items on the menu

Came here for lunch and the food was quite delicious. The restaurant is more of a higher end type of Jamaican place as opposed to the mom and pops type but the still retains that homely feeling for food. Had the salt fish and ackee with ground provisions, shrimp roti and curry goat and wings as an appetizer. Other than the ackee dish being a bit too greasy and lukewarm with the food served in a bit of oil, the other dishes were quite good. Would try again.

The Diner’s Corner is a hidden gem that genuinely captures the heart and soul of Jamaican cuisine. Warmth and Genuine Service: 5/5. Our lovely waitress, Grace, is down-to-earth, gracious, and treats every guest like family. Her warm smile and attentive service made our dining experience truly memorable. Big up, Grace! The chef here is cooking from the heart and creating magic. Each dish is infused with love and passion. It’s like they’ve bottled the essence of Jamaica and sprinkled it over every dish. The fried Green Plantain arrived like a sunburst, crispy and golden with a side of Saltfish perfection bursting with flavor and the way it complemented the plantain—pure bliss. I’ve never had saltfish done so beautifully. The Red Peas Soup was a warm hug in a bowl, rich with traditional flavors. My Escovitch King Fish was a huge slice! Very well seasoned with a generous layer of my favorite onions and peppers. Served with a side of freshly steamed veggies and salad. Definitely enough for two. Heartfelt gratitude to the chef. Your craft is a gift to Toronto. Keep cooking from the heart. Grace, you’re an absolute angel! Thank you for making our evening unforgettable. Oh almost forgot the Diners Rum Punch! A well crafted cocktail that I highly recommend trying at least two.
