It's a great little spot with about room for 20 or so guests. I really liked the atmosphere. It felt cozy. Had the curry katsu and karaage. The karaage is tasty, it's lightly marinated. It's not your usual starch coating. This has more of a crunch and crispiness to it like it is lightly battered. The portion of katsu is generous unlike some other places that are super thin and all bread. If I lived in the area, this is the type of place I would like to become a regular at. I think what added to the atmosphere was the closeness of the chef, waitress, and another guest/regular. It wasn't too busy and I could here them joke, banter, and talk about life from there various backgrounds. Thanks for lunch!
A really good curry spot in Fort Lee. The katsu was excellent, and the hambagu was delicious too. Note that the hambagu takes about 20 minutes to prepare, so it’s best to order ahead or come a bit early. Service was okay, though the server could be a bit friendlier. Other than that, great food, quality, and prices. Definitely recommend!
Found a great curry spot in Fort Lee, honestly the best I’ve had in town so far. The place is small but cozy, and the service was super friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The curry itself was really good, and the hambagu topping was an excellent choice. We also ordered the kids’ curry, which was milder and a bit sweeter compared to the regular one. You can ask to make your curry spicier if you prefer.
Excellent japanese curry. The soup that they serve is very similar to what we had in Japan, not the generic miso soup that's often served in other restaurants. Highly recommend people try this place. We'll go back here for sure!
Their karaage curry is out of this world! Hot and juicy chicken combined with flavor-rich spicy curry. And that cabbage on the side marinated in sweet and vinegary jalapeño dressing balances out the grease from karaage perfectly. Oh, and the miso soup is loaded with vegetables. 10/10 food.
Hands-down a hidden gem in Fort Lee. Best curry out there, and always outstanding. Portions are generous and food is amazing. Definitely try out the curry.
Really solid curry spot. I ordered the pork katsu curry and it was honestly great ,crispy, not greasy, and the curry had a lot of flavor. My friend got the hamburger curry and loved it too. There was about a 20-minute wait, but it was totally worth it. Everything came out hot and fresh. Also worth mentioning: their miso soup is different from most places much more fragrant and flavorful. Overall, definitely a place I’d come back to.
Excellent comfort food at exceptional prices. Service is very friendly and they serve alcohol. We ordered shrimp curry, hamburger curry, an appetizer canned “two fishes” which was tuna and salmon sashimi. We also ordered chicken Karrage. Dark meat, moist and crunchy. Generous servings, so come with your appetite.
