Banzai Japanese Bar & Kitchen

This place had good reviews and the photos of food looked good, so I came in. The food was great! The mushroom bombs were good and did not have an overpowering mushroom taste. The gyozas were tasty. The rolls (especially the Baked Salmon Roll) were delicious! I definitely will go back!

Came into Banzai a little afraid of not liking the food but AH it was quiet delicious quiet the meal if I do say so, started off with an order of yum rolls w/ some Kamikaze fries. Those fries were probably the best ones I’ve ever had around town! A variety of items on the menu to choose from and all very delicious it seemed like! The chefs chili oil sauce was not very spicy but more on the sweet side which I enjoyed. Had to even ask for some to go . Decided to top it all off with some cheesecake & let me say it was very soft and the yummiest dessert my taste buds have laid on. Overall service was a delight very friendly and had chats with us when checking up! Definitely will be the spot when looking for a bite in tower district. Can’t wait to come again.

My party and I had an amazing experience. Our waiter was very thorough and patient. She also joked around with us. We felt very welcomed. The food was delicious too! We had the Poke Nachos, Calamari, Eel Nigiri, Shrimp Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Orange Blossom Roll, and the Baked Salmom Roll. I liked that we can even customize our rolls. The bar drinks were very good too, I recommend the Bonzai Tea. The atmosphere was on point. We want to thank all the staff at Bonzai. We definitely will be going back.

Visited for the first time, still in soft launch opening but food was amazing, had their Fried Calamari, Mushroom Bombs, Butter Crunch Roll, Red Dragon Roll and Double Crunch Roll, service was spot on, great atmosphere with cool wall art and food outstanding. A must to check out!

Enjoyed a great table on the patio for the Pride Parade! Banzai’s food is great, but I really want to call attention to their friendly, efficient staff and their celebration of our neighborhood and it’s diversity. We are so very lucky to have them in the Tower. Thanks for a really fun day!

This might be our new spot. Thoughtful cocktails and great service. Food was on point we left fat and happy. Atmosphere was also great.

I’ve ordered 4 times so far during their soft opening. Amazing service from some of the friendliest servers in town. The sushi is fresh and tasty. I recommend the 911 Dynamite if you like a spicy dish. Topped with lemon, the Golden Gate is my favorite roll. I had been looking all over town for good sushi with lemon and Bonzai did not disappoint. There is indoor, covered outdoor and bar seating. I had a great time at Banzai! I ordered the Katana cocktail, and it was delicious. I also ordered the agedashi tofu and the osaji spoons—both were absolutely perfect. The person who helped me was friendly and attentive, as well. I’m glad I stopped here on a whim and can’t wait to come back.

I always enjoy this spot! Sushi is pretty good, some of the best I've had in Fresno. The drinks are fantastic with cute garnishes that are very instagrammable. My favorite seat is at the bar by the Buddha statue.

I got the poke nachos and the cherry blossom roll. Both were incredible. The nachos and the poke melt in your mouth and was a beautiful presentation from start to finish. The sauce on the cherry blossom rolls was delicious as well and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The sake they have is great too. Easily my new favorite sushi place in town!
