Mei's Japanese Express

I get two of the same things’ @ this place everytime and the taste, and customer service are always spot on! Definitely recommend!

My first time staying in Eastman and Japanese was recommended by the lady working desk at the motel. I ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp along with miso soup. The chicken was very good. The shrimp were a little plain. Not bad, but we're just some cooked shrimp thrown on top. Miso soup was just a cloudy broth with a few small pieces on tofu and something green. It's not horrible, but even at a cheap price, it should have been more. Staff were friendly and very personable.

The preparation was quick because they had the main items already prepped. The food was tasty and filling. Good portion sizes. The counter staff was friendly and courteous.

Pretty good for what I've ordered so far but I'd honestly stay away from the lo mein. It's a mess and it's pretty boring with just spaghetti noodles. I've never seen it this way nor will I ever order it again. Besides that, it's great. These are my favorites. Hibachi steak with onions and fried rice.

This was our first time trying Mei’s! The restaurant is very clean and the food was absolutely delicious. We ate sesame chicken, hibachi steak and teriyaki chicken. The steak was our favorite. The employees were incredibly friendly and the we received our entrees in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Been here twice now, and I really like their fried rice. Ordered miso soup, egg drop soup, and veggie bowl to go. The staff were nice. They have a drive thru where you can order or pick up food.
