Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse

This restaurant is definitely one to check out! The food was freshly made, and quick service. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. I'm big on cleanliness, so this was a great to see. The worker recommended the steak shrimp combo meal. The portion was good with two scoops of rice. The food was cooked thoroughly, and had the Japanese flavors we all love. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the cost. I think the plate was a little steep at over $17. However, with the ingredients being used, it was still not overly priced. You're not getting a deal, but you're not getting ripped off. They keep the seeds inside the zucchini, so you will notice many of these as you dive in. I am excited to come back one day to try some other plates. I will update then.

Awesome chicken teriyaki and nice people. We got take out twice now and brought our friends after our home Bible fellowship. Glad to have found a nearby go-to-resturant. Tender shrimp too.

I absolutely enjoy the fact that there are so many different items on the menu to choose from that my little family of 5 can all find something we each like . There is one issue I have come to find almost everytime we have been to the one in Powdersville is that there is an employee there that pretty much everytime we have been (she/he) acts like they hate being there and that every customer is just taking up (her/his) time. And it almost ruins my visit everytime. (She/He) shouldn't be running the front counter. Otherwise it's great!

Always very friendly and attentive. Food out in timely manner. Eat her frequently and have never had a problem. Kids eat sushi and love it, and I have hibachi and love it.

This is our favorite place to get Japanese food! The food is always hot and delicious! They are very consistent.. never had any problems!

I walked in just after 2pm and they had quite a few people inside eating and picking up food. After I ordered and got my drink, I sat down with the pager that they provided. When it went off I walked back to the register and acquired my food. I used the self serving container for the white sauce and I can say their sauce blends great with the chicken and rice! From what I saw the restaurant was pretty clean, and the lady that took my order was friendly. Definitely will be going back next time I’m in town and will update this review with any new findings!

The food here is always good and fresh and have great customer service and they keep the place neat and clean

05/08/2024 I've been here several times for to go orders usually made online. I've only had one problem and it was resolved as soon as I brought it up in person. I have noticed several reviews and pictures which are not of the Powdersville location but of the Greenwood location so don't let some of the reviews deture you from trying this location. I don't eat raw fish so I can't comment on the sushi and whatever else like that however the things I have tried have been satisfactory for me. The lady behind the counter may not be the most talkative person but she's always there so no telling how many hours she puts in there in a week. So to sum it up don't rely on all the reviews, just give it a least one try and make your own opinion.
