New Japan

Oh I just love New Japan! They make the best food ever its for filling and plentiful. No exaggeration there food is awesome I love their steak shrimp and chicken platter. Their seafood salad are also awesome their wings are great. Plus they have good customer service skills. The best thing about them is. If something went wrong with your order, which normally doesn't they'll fix with no problem. Great place to eat five stars all the way!!

Better than any other Japanese restaurant in a 50 mile radius - so far. Hot, fresh, delicious & plentiful. Amazing sauce options. Great price. Too far away to make it a regular thing for us which sucks as it was truly memorable. Wish it was a proper restaurant setting rather than fast food.

Actually…. Not a bad place at all! Very similar, if not the same restaurant, located on Durham by Hillsborough Road (on 147), but overall very good! The white sauce does lack a bit of flavor compared to other locations, but it does taste like the usual ingredients for the white/yum yum sauce recipe: mayonnaise, maybe even butter, and some condiment like paprika and vinegar I think (I used to work at a couple of Chinese food restaurants) but it also depends on personal preference. I’m writing and giving a review based on my experience. Overall, I do recommend. When we called for pickup the lady on the phone did say that it was going to be about a 20 minute wait, so do order ahead of time. We got there in about 25 minutes, but the food was still warm (not burning hot, but it was still very good) portion was GREAT, I got full with less than half of the plate. I also suggest checking out the little sauce station to get extra sauces if you wanted more or just ask for more, I think they charge for extra but I’m not 100% sure, and utensils and napkins are also available in the same area by the sauce-filling-station. I will be coming back. Thank you for the service and the food.

I tried the lunch which is hibachi chicken with veggies and fried rice served with a soda. I also added mushrooms to my plate at no extra charge. The service was very quick today. The food was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent Japanese takeout. I have eaten here about 6 times in the last few months. Staff has always been friendly and helpful and the facility is clean. Food is inexpensive and the portions are generous. We usually get one steak or chicken dinner and one vegetable dinner. Broccoli is fresh while other vegetables are prepared ahead of time. Sauces are available on the side and are interesting without being overpowering. Beef and chicken are both excellent and appear to be freshly-prepared. Great choice for an inexpensive and reasonably healthy meal.

This was my first time trying this eatery and I was very impressed. The staff was fantastic and the food was excellent you got your money worth. I would recommend this place

Food quality is good but the fried chicken wings are so salty. Good environment to eat inside. Free parking space.
