Otani Japanese Cuisine

After a 4 hour drive from New York me and my wife were looking for some great food and oh boy did we get lucky…. We had a not just “great” but a PHENOMENAL experience at Otani. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and our server Johnny was attentive, personable, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent across the board, especially the shrimp, which was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was fresh and flavorful. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to if i’m in the area and recommending to others for sure!

I told my wife to find a new sushi spot for us to go to and she found this place on tik tok. First let me say the environment is so chill and laid back! I love it! On to the food, it was amazing! And when I say amazing I mean amazing! My wife and I, we could consider ourselves sushi connoisseur we've had sushi from every coast of trumps USA so we know good sushi and let me tell you, otani has great sushi! We ordered the playboy roll(shout out Hugh heffner) mango roll, tango roll, Annapolis roll, and i hand the salmon handroll....all amazing! But the playboy roll was my favorite.....it was simply perfection!!!!!!! Words doesn't do it any justice! If you're looking for great sushi do yourself a favor and go to this place, trust me you won't be disappointed! The service was ok, our waiter wasn't on point but he wasn't bad either, he wasn't working for his tip if you know what I mean but he wasn't bad either, I did leave a 15 dollar tip which would have been 25 if he would have went to infinity and beyond (shout out my guy buzz) iykyk anyways back to reviewing i highly recommend this place and If u do decide to treat your get two playboy rolls...tell them I sent u to get a 7 and a half percent discount off your bill...nah I'm joking about the discount but go here to treat yourself to some great sushi!

Had a really good experience with this place. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Overall a great spot if you are in town and looking for a nice relaxing spot to enjoy Sushi. Very happy coming here.

Tried their playboy roll, and I've been to japan myself, ordered this takeout mind you, this is probably the best sushi Ive had in a while!! Im sure it is better dine in! Would recommend

I drove 40mins from Baltimore to taste two things: smoked salmon sushi & pineapple fried rice. They were both delicious. Hands down & FRESH. Service & attention to you, impeccable. You feel seen & it's such a quaint, well thought out decorated spot. Worth every mile in gas. I'll be back.

It’s a small intimate dining space. We were a little overdressed. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter was on point with everything. He was very observant! Whenever we were done with a dish or ready to place another order he was right there at our table. The food was good. We ordered shrimp/scallop hibachi and filet mignon/lobster hibachi. I do wish the fried rice had a little more flavor but we simply added a little soy sauce and was good to go. The sushi was good. We kept it simple and got the shrimp tempura, it was so fresh. I can’t wait to return and try the specialty rolls.

My mom and I come every week and it is always the most fantastic experience. The owner and staff are the sweetest, and our order (though it is the same all the time), is always correct. Everything is so quick and delicious. Definitely come here to not only eat amazing food, but to support a local business!

We love this place and so does our one and a half year old. The staff is very accommodating and the sushi is second to none. We drive 40 mins to partake and its worth the drive each time.
