Food was great. Sushi was great. Had a very good experience. Definitely would not hesitate to come back again. Much improved from a few years back.

This was amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious. Blue fin toro Dirty old man Mango Madness Mochi ice cream And a few others! You must come and try Starfish sushi. Brian was fantastic and recommended some of his favorites! We were able to meet his father, the owner. They are really some amazing people. What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, the flavors, the service all 5 stars!

Totally exceptional from beginning to end! The chic, modern ambiance sets the perfect stage, complemented by friendly and attentive service. Each dish is presented with fabulous flair and the food itself is nothing short of exceptional. A top-notch experience all around!

First time trying this sushi restaurant, and we were not disappointed! The presentation of every dish was remarkable. Our server, Mason, was wonderful with helping us on our first visit and made delicious recommendations.

Its difficult to get fresh sushi in the suburbs. Starfish not only has fresh sushi but they have all the unique cuts as well. The chefs are outstanding and have perfected their craft. The waitstaff is efficient and attentive. Prices are great, the drink choices are creative. The bar is well stocked with a good vibe. Everything is clean and positive.

Place was decent. Food was what you expect. The service was awesome. They were attentive. A table next to me had kids, and the waiters gave them balloons. Pretty cool gesture.

From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. Mason, our server, greeted us with such great energy and immediately walked us through the menu and the specials of the day. While we were still deciding what to order, he surprised us with a complimentary appetizer, which was such a thoughtful touch! The bluefin toro we ordered was absolutely stunning — beautifully presented, incredibly delicate, and most importantly, delicious. My family also tried the Baby Shark Maki, Salmon Obsession Maki, and the Sushi & Maki Bento Box. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It truly felt like a perfect dinner from start to finish. Just when we thought the experience couldn’t get any better, Mason asked about our meal while we were paying and then surprised us with a complimentary plate of Super White tuna as a welcome gift for first-time guests! He even took the time to explain how it was prepared — super professional and clearly passionate about what he does. Fantastic food, outstanding service, and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Huge thanks to Mason and the Starfish Sushi team — we’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing sushi place. This was our first time and we hit it on a Friday rush. The place was packed and even though we had 6:30 reservations we didnt get seated until 7:00 and first drinks and appetizers arrived at 7:30. The wait was worth it. The lobster miso was excellent. They oyster was great with some really interesting flavors. Highly recommend the Starfish Mule. We got a complimentary app for our waiting, we then proceeded to order a lot of roles and deserts. The ocean was probably my favorite. Though baby shark and dynamite were tasty as well. The golden shrimp roll was completely different than any other place. Overall. I will be back, especially to check out the lunch specials.
