Tables are a little close together, but it always feels cozy and not overcrowded during the week. There is plenty of seating. Parking can be tricky, if traveling in a group- I recommend carpooling. Their sushi, hibachi (especially steak) and soups have never failed me.
Great food at a good price. Do not let the location fool you.
It's inside a gas station, and I know that kills the atmosphere for me, but the speed and quality of the hibachi are way better than the only other place to get hibachi in Roxboro.. 10/10, definitely worth every cent.
Not located in actual Tokyo Japan however the cusine in this not located in Japan establishment is top notch and I recommend it to anyone that ever gets hungry and with that hunger is searching food

The absolute best Japanese food around, period. I've lived in Raleigh and Durham, and I used to travel for work for 13 years. This place has food that's in a class with high-caliber sit-down hibachi restaurants that put on shows and set fires in front of you. Except you save a ton of money and time. And you don't have to sit on the floor next to strangers.
What a diamond in the rough. We were a little skeptical bc it’s located in a convenience store, but this is our go to meal when we get home late and can’t cook. I’d stack it up against 90% of high end hibachi restaurants I’ve been to. Folks who work there are super nice and the food is very consistently delicious! Highly recommend!
I have a good menu with a lot to choose from. I either get the hibachi steak or the chicken lo mein. I've never had a bad meal from there.
