Nice local Chinese place. Clean restaurant. Staff are very friendly and nice. Nice menu with a good number of choices. Food is fresh, hot, and very good. Nice portions for the price. Love the wonton soup and Hunan chicken. Tea is delightful as well! Also good take out that is always ready when they say it will be ready.
We always look forward to a trip to Tai-Pan. We go about once every few weeks mainly in the afternoon. The service is fantastic. We love the two women that work in the afternoon. They remember us and what we like. The food is so good. I get the Hunan Vegetables extra spicy and it's great. I see they do a great take out business as well as the sit down restaurant business. Everything is clean and nice. I've never been to the restroom, so I can't comment on that. It's worth a try if you like good Chinese food.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Geauga County! The food is ample, reasonably prices, and prepared quickly without a lot of wait time. Restaurant is usually on the busy side but we have never had to wait long to be seated. My favorite dish is the pork egg foo young. Absolutely the very best I ever eaten. My 96 year old dad will usually get the egg foo yound or one of the milder chilcken dishes. He loves to start with a soup and appreciates that the soup arrives hot!
Although an hour away I’ve thought to head back to Middlefield just for another delicious meal at Tai-Pan! The ambiance is clean, calm, staff very friendly and helpful, prices are great, food was fantastic! Wishing I had ordered the Wongtong soup as after words I heard it’s the best. Egg drop soup I usually don’t like yet theirs was so good as was everything spring roll and vegetable delete
I’ve been coming here for years. The best food and service that I’ve found anywhere in Ohio! Today I had my favorite hot and sour soup with vegetable tempura. Hot and delicious, very affordable! Will be returning soon. Edit: just tried a new dish tonight - beef with cashews - soooo amazing!
I’ve been going to Tai Pan since I was a yungin and I always have loved it. The new ownership is pretty good but something isn’t the same. I still like it a lot but there isn’t any other Chinese places around to compare to. My only reason for the 4 star is because I always ask for spicy sauce with most of my chickens and it’s usually an underwhelming spice . It’s also oddly peaceful in there which isn’t always my forte but it is relaxing. I’d recommend this place for after church lunches because that’s when it busts down . Also I’m annoyed that on the “find your age to find your animal” menu, I come out to be a frickin chicken . I’ve always wanted to be the dragon. regardless, I like Tai Pan a lot and do recommend their generals chicken and orange chicken.
Definitely one of the best Chinese places I've tried up here. A little more expensive than most Chinese places but you get way better food and massive portions. Everything was fantastic and service was great. Really nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended.
Really good food lots of flavor very attentive staff can't go wrong ill be back. Dinner for two thumbs up
