Wow, the salmon appetizer and fried dragon roll i had here were so so good! The salmon had literal fried, crispy, puffy salmon skin with a raw salmon tartar on top - super crunchy and delicious. Three dragon roll was perfectly spicy and flavorful. Both were very filling and well prepared. The place itself is also really nice - it looks like it could be a spot for formal meetings or just casual lunches. So so so good! One of my new favorite sushi spots in town!

Omg this place has the most fine and yummy dishes. Been there twice and will come back to taste them all! Sophisticated japanese cuisine at its finest. Only once i got pissed because they served us the entrées along with the main dish even though i had specifically asked not to. But I guess this is also something used to happen in Canada.. It happens to me a LOT in this country lol But the second time i ve been there they were amazing on the service, so its all forgiven!

I Loved the decoration with old Japanese magazines and the ambient is cozy and warm. The service staff are kind too. The food is good and portions medium-big.

I took many friends to YEN over the past two years. This time, I ordered one of their poke bowls with salmon and scallops—it was beautifully arranged, super fresh, and the balance of flavors was spot on. The rice was seasoned just right, and the sauce had enough depth without overpowering the ingredients. What stood out to me was how calm and inviting the space felt. It’s minimal but warm, with clean lines and soft lighting that make you want to slow down and actually enjoy your food. The staff were really kind too—patient with questions, and they seemed to genuinely care about making sure the bowl came out the way I liked it.

It was my second time visiting this sushi place. Loved it as usual. I'd rate it as the top few Japanese sushi places in Montreal among those I've been to. Every dish (those shown in the pics) was yummy. We ordered a few more (Toshikoshi soba, beef rice bowl and Kizuna Hotate Maki) which we forgot to take pics. They were also really delicious!

Celebrating my birthday, staffs were very nice and welcoming. They paid attention to the occasion we have reserved and offered us a slice of cake to celebrate my birthday and even sang me happy birthday song. Food and presentation was good. We enjoyed their Chirashi bowls.

The atmosphere and the decoration is great. Also the quality of the ingredients and the size of the portions are outstanding. The service was not good but not terribly bad. The waitress didn't explain to us the mom's day menu and took our order after long minutes. Yet, she was super quick to let us know that the reservation only lasted 1:30 hours. Also, we ordered the bill and it took her 15 min and a reminder from the table besides to bring it. In the meantime she was trying drinks inside the kitchen (open kitchen so you could see). I'm definitely giving it a second chance because the menu and dishes are great.
